Hi everyone!!

I finally decided to clear out most of our baby/kids stuff. Mostly I was holding onto a lot for sentimental reasons and then not knowing what to do with them.

I bought a table at our local kids swap meet and am wondering if any of you have ever attended one of those swap meets and what general pricing is?

What do people charge and pay for things in good to new condition such as:

play pens
exersaucers
child carriers
high chairs
tricycles
toys
onesies
outfits
tops
pants
dresses
etc. etc. etc.

I've went to a few of the mom to mom sales. I prefer them to yard sales since I can get a lot in one spot.

I don't go to the local consignment shop, it's way overpriced.

We bought most of our bigger items new but based on what I've seen self quickly on Kijiji and at the mom to mom sales I would say:

Bigger items (high chair, playpens, exersaucers) : $25-$30

Onesies/Sleepers: $1 each (or in bags for $5 for 5/6).

Nice tops/pants: $2

Coats: $3-$5 (spring/rain etc)

Outfits/dresses: $4-$6

Books: $1

Toys: this really varies so I'd say 10-20% retail value.

Of course all of the prices depend on brand name, condition, and where you live (different prices can be charged in different areas).

Cab, I don't understand this hamburger challenge thing...I know you're young and your body can probably not be affected by things like this, and "the wasabi incident", , but gosh...I hope you're taking some good probiotics to keep your innards nice and squeaky clean...gads...I'm sounding like a "mom"....!!! But I worry...sigh...

Evening everyone! I was able to get the kidlets into bed a little early. YAY! After Spaghetti dinner, bath time and then books I was done. lol.

Now just waiting for my SIL to arrive. Going to look over some wedding stuff with her. So exciting! She's getting married next summer.

lola - it's just so odd that you've already had supper and put the kids down - it's only 4 here and I'm just going to start doing prep for our meal.

Yay for weddings - it should be fun helping with planning!
We have a family wedding in May, my husband's nephew is getting married, but it's in Serbia, gah!

yep only 6 here i wish i could put my kids to bed. looking at 10 or 11 before that happens. lucky u.
oh cab be careful. i know its only once in awhile but the after affects in your veins.. oi!

we have two weddings coming up here.. not looking forward to either one. good chance i won't be going to them.
