How's everyone??

Everyone is busy this month!!! working extra hours or spending time with others/families doing shopping or get togethers.

Here I am taking it easy on my extra hours from work to do something with friends or family and they are busy .... but when I am busy they are not.

I hate how I am choosing the wrong time to do certain things!!!

Well, it's nice to see that you're finally taking some "down time"!Soooo....will your schedule at least mesh with your family and friends closer to Christmas? I know this is a hectic time for lots of people...Relax...you've earned it!

Okay, Mom brag....just had a quick chat with DD on the phone; the other day when she and her hubby were in the mall doing some shopping, she found a $20 bill on the floor, looked around and didn't see anyone looking like they dropped anything, so she put it into the Salvation Army kettle. She said it wasn't hers to keep, she didn't earn it...sniff...a much better person than me, I'm thinking...And they went through all their little guy's toys with him and he gave a huge bag of very good toys to her TD toy drive...I'm so proud of my little girl....(one out of two anyway!)...

RNC....I'm thinkin' 5 months? Or so?
Until then, we have the NFL, then the play-offs, then the Olympics...that should help wind down those months...and it might be not only the sports, but the politics in the area that may prove to be interesting. I pray everyone is safe...

Germany didn't pull out - the athletic president did and will not be attending the games, but the athletes will still be there

LOL I had to google it bc I had not heard anything about it and I think it would be big news! I'm excited to see the Olympics, will be very interesting.

It'll be a distraction from the snow...I do enjoy the Olympics, just not the subjectively judged events; it there isn't a stop-watch, score-board or distance marker, then I tend not to enjoy them as much; I don't believe the judging to be "fair and unbiased", nor do I believe that each judge is proficient in both the "artisitic" and the "technical" areas of the sports they try to judge. I enjoy watching those sports, but I don't pay much attention to winners, at least not as much attention as I do to the objectively determined winners. I also wonder why a country such as Puerto Rico has teams entered in the Olympics...are they not part of the US? And Hong Kong? Maybe Ontario should enter its own team.....or....Or maybe I'm just cranky today...

Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US not an actual state, it is technically a territory of the US.I find it quite confusing!!
