Ohhhhh...Avon's driving her hubby home from his surgery yesterday and all I'm seeing is freezing rain down south!! This is not good........maybe they'll stay on overnight.........I'm going to text her.........

Hm.....she didn't text me back which probably means they're on the road.....I hope that freezing rain didn't start down there, yet...!

Well, I'm d-o-n-e.

I've made caramel sauce and my Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake is in the oven for the next 1hr and 5 minutes.
It's amazing how little stamina I have now; just that and I'm really done for the day. I even had to leave a bowl and a couple of pots for my hubby when he comes home from shooting pool. He told me to if I couldn't do them, and omg, my back is so sore and I can feel where the plate is in my leg which is always a sign to stop. This isn't any fun at all....

Anyway! Just the lasagna to be made this evening with my hubby, his semi-world famous Caesar Salad dressing to be made, so tomorrow, only bread dough into the breadmaker for dinner rolls to do! Oh....our company is my gf and her hubby back from 2 months in Florida....I don't want to do anything tomorrow but sit and chat!

Dan, thank you....she's such a joy...a big personality in a little doggie! And I did tell her it was all your fault....I wasn't about to take the blame for wrapping her up like a yellow burrito!
Dan, if it's the cold my hubby has, it's been two wretched weeks of it, so far! I hope that's not the case with you...it's one thing to feel that yucky when retired, but not when you're out working. Nothing worked, either....between his cold and my bronchial flu, we've been quite the pair for the past few weeks!

Were you able to go to work today?

A nice sunny day, heading to -7....spring is on it's way! I thought snow was on it's way, but perhaps we got lucky and it passed over or under us, which is often the case here.

Going up to -3 on the weekend!! Woohoo!! Spring is just around the corner!!

Well, the lasagna's made, cheesecake and caramel sauce done, hubby's working on his Caesar Salad dressing and fixins (can you smell the bacon frying? Mmmmm!!), tablecloth and napkins picked out, not sure what to do for a centrepiece, though...it's so awkward that I can't get downstairs to rummage through candleholders....grrr....I may have to make do with the ones I have up here....yes, yes, first world problems...

Walks, any power outages your way? I heard there were some, but perhaps west of you...I hope your hubby stays safe out there....ice can be so dangerous, and how sweet of him to look after your neighbour..!

Dan, exciting times, huh? Oh, I miss hearing about everyone's wedding plans when I first met with all my couples...if you can share tid-bits like cake choices..um..colour scheme..stuff like that, we'll live vicariously through you...

Morning everyone

Hows everyone doing, I haven't been able to post in a little while since I couldn't get internet pretty much anywhere. I was also cut off from using the internet at the library because I had an overdue fine which I paid today lol. My new landlord had issues with cable freezing and found that the old landlord had cable and net hooked up illegally. So there has been no net or cable for a few weeks now but he managed to order a new commercial cable/internet package due to be installed March 13th.
