I think positive visualization is a great tool to help in a situation like Nat found herself in. It is such a worry on every front when our pets are not safe & sound at home. I'm glad she is back Natalie & that she can continue to recover & get stronger.

LOLOL...amof, I DO remember that set-up and having to write down whatever wines, booze everyone wanted!! Not that I was old enough to order at the time, but I remember my Dad ordering their Christmas beverages that way; it all seemed very exotic...too funny!!! Absolutely forgotten; thanks, Loocie for another little sweet memory...

I used to like when my Dad would let me keep the change that came sliding down that slot. In those days 45 cents would buy you a chocolate bar, bag of chips or whatever you fancied. Chocolate bars used to be a dime.

I was going to get you K Tel’s Fantastic Hits, but they were all sold out!
Then I thought about some velour jammies, so you could lounge about,
A bottle of wine is boring & so is a basket of cheese,
As when it comes to receiving desired gifts there are no guarantees,
& do you really think when Sleigh Bells ring people really listen?
Or is the best place you can be under the mistletoe a’kissin’?
You may see lots of people getting a little too loaded,
& if they stuff themselves with foodies, they’re gonna feel all bloated,
So celebrate how you like to & embrace the Christmas jubilation,
& accept this personal greeting in lieu of monetary compensation.

Lol...I think that was a "Dad" thing to do! Yep, we were pretty rich with 45 cents in our pockets!
I remember my Mom giving me a quarter to go to the store and I could fill up the brown paper bag with enough candy to share with all my friends!!! Good times...innocent times.....
