I understand our fight Lynn, the battle, the constant whining and bargaining I do ( in my head! ) like at 5:30 when my DS offered to buy DD and I Pizza Pizza with wings and such, I should have screamed NO!!! but he looked so handsome in his suit coming in after class ( special attire today) and that smile, so I eagerly said
" oh how nice of you " Portion control was my plan and even though I indulged it was a far cry from the amount I would have scarfed down in the past, so I chalk it up as a win anyway.
Stay as strong as you can over the w/e everyone, I know that saboteur Easter Bunny is not far from our doors too!

Aw, how sweet of your son...and so true...how on earth can you say no to such a generous offer? But you're right...portion control is everything in those situations. Today is our DD's b'day and I'm making a not- very-legal dinner, and the triple-layer cake that her DH and our grandson are making today...? HOW can one refuse?! Lol! Should be lots of fun....he's SO exciting about her b'day!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Thanks Lynn. You all know this leg has been a battle for me. I still want to lose that last 5-10 lbs, but it is not happening right now. But I will continue to fattle with you all (so I left to deal with babies and hubby changed the b to an f so it looks like I typed fattle instead of battle by accident and I decided to leave it lol). I am happy with maintaining right now. I will lose the last bit eventually, but I am going to be glad I stuck with it and maintained rather than gained. We all want to lose, but if we are plateauing keeping going forward so our next move is still a down and not an up.

Oh I gained 1. Which means I am up 1 from my start of this. Hence the plateauing reference as I have been up down up down, lose gain lose gain every week.

Hon, you are in the same boat as our DD, and if it makes you feel better, the staff at Herbal Magic are having a problem getting her to maintain and or lose the last 6lbs...she's a size 6 now, so I don't have a ton of sympathy, LOL!! When I used to plateau, I took a day, usually Sunday and ate whatever I wanted...from papa burgers, to spaghetti..whatever I wanted. That stopped my body from feeling it had to retain every ounce of food it received. There was a point that I did that every week and lost perfectly! Amof, this past year, even Dr Oz suggested doing the same for those last stubborn pounds, or if plateauing. Perhaps give that a try?
I probably inadvertently did that this past year of loss since I ate whatever I wanted on holidays, b'days and we know how often those things crop up....Good luck and don't fret those last few right now...it'll happen!

Feel better Patty. That emoticon is er gross!
Lynn your kinds words are so nice! I am wearing a 10-12. But considering I was wearing maternity clothes for over two years. I am pretty happy.
I think once it warms up and I am motivated to start walking again that will help with those last few. Honestly, I am proud I have stuck with you guys, because that is the real challenge. Knowing I have to check in keeps me from continuing to be bad..."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."
