Update Post#93:Prayers/Thoughts for TaraF's spouse

Many of us know the difficulties that TaraF has gone through in the past little while. Now it is her spouse that needs our prayers/thoughts.
On Thursday morning he will be going into surgery, and I have been asked to pass this request along to the folks @ SC.
Please remember TaraF too during this difficult time.

Hello Everyone,

Alright, since I have so many people to call and email I do apologize that this email isn't personalized
but rather sent to a bunch of you at one time, I do hope that you understand.
Ferals surgery went well and as scheduled at 8am and by 11:30am I spoke with the Surgeon about his condition.
He faired the surgery well however the Surgeon was shocked at what he found. As you guys know he was having a full thyroid removal
and the goiter that had formed on the right thyroid had grown down under his collarbone and into his chest
pushing his wind pipe over. The surgeon removed the goiter which was (the following is how he explained it to me
so that I would understand) "in 2 seperate masses that were joined by a string" however when he removed that he
found a seperate mass hiding behind! He said that although it is strange they have seen this before but was still
shocked to find another mass there that wasn't connected to anything and that hadn't showed up on the previous xrays or CT Scans.
They will send everything they excised away to Pathology and we will know in 10 days if there was any cancer present amongst that beast.
For now he is resting rather comfortably considering and in good spirits. I will update you when we know something else.
