All Purpose Rant Away Thread - 3.2.1 GO!

Both my kids decided to outgrow everything at the same time. Was hoping just to get the necessities for back to school and wait for clothes to go on sale before I had to buy them new wardrobes but nope.

Talize will be doing 50% clothing and accessories this Monday.

DH is supposed to leave next week so we decided to take the kids on a mini vacation.

Just get back to 5 messages! His new work tried our home phone 2 times and his cell 3 times this afternoon! He apparently forgot to turn his cell on!!! WTH???

Now no one is in the office so we'll probably have to wait until Monday to find out what they wanted! So freaking annoyed at him! Hope they didn't book his flight for Monday!

He KNEW he was expecting phone calls! How did he forget to turn his phone on ALL DAY???

Now he's super P.O'd and so am I. What a way to end a trip! Guess I should go unload the van. Grrrrrrr!

I have been using the same ratty purse for years. DH tells me to throw it away but I love it so much. The zipper has finally gone though so I bought a brand new one to replace it.

It was listed on the website as Reg $278. It arrived today and the tag says the regular price is actually $255... AND it is scratched in the
front!!!!

I've had a really hard couple of months. All I wanted as a non-holey purse and now I get one straight from the manufacturer with scratches on it.

I am tired of complaining to companies and I really wish something will work out without me having to fix it

Oh no! That's the worst when you finally treat yourself to something nice and it arrives damaged. Even though it's a headache, return it and make sure you get a flawless purse in exchange. For that kind of money there's no excuses for the purse to be damaged on arrival.
BTW I'm pretty sure I read you're an August baby? Happy early/late birthday!

Snack duty at various sporting events for the kids. This pisses me off to no end. Thankfully DD is old enough now and the parents voted to stop bringing snacks (what a sensible group of parents). However, everyone on DS's team was required to supply snacks for one given day. Today was my day. My rant is about the scavenger children who crawl out of the woodwork begging for a stupid granola bar that aren't even on his frickin' team! These are the younger siblings of the boys on his team. Do the parents say anything about it? NO! They take it a step further and want to know if the g-damn granola bars are peanut free!! FML! People are so fkn entitled these days, it makes me so irate.

Used to drive me nuts when dd played soccer too. I had one mom yell at me because I had brought juice boxes and granola bars instead of fruit, AFTER I fed the team and her extra 4 kids.

luckily I only spent $99 on it LOL! But frankly, any money doesn't make it right to send damaged stuff
