2 rants today..
When a large company provides the wrong tracking number... Then tells you you can't track it until it arrives in Canada. Ummm, why would you only provide me the tracking number for Canada instead of the majority of the journey which would be the US?? And the correct one would be great!
Also, ebates sends me a cheque for $4 and change when I have over $25 that is owed to me! If I had made the transactions 1-2 days before the cheque was issued then fair enough, but no. That's not the case. Ugh.
Why do I feel like I have to argue with companies over something every time?! I'm thinking about quitting the whole 'online shopping' thing. I feel like I get better deals when I go into a store anyway.Getting back into trading - see my Trade and Wish Lists (under 'About Me' tab)

Based on what SCers are reporting about the discount codes/coupons for online sales, it seems that many retailers think flooding the market with multiple sale hooks will work like overbooked seat sales-ensuring the companies get a certain amount of traffic/sales volumes.
As time is precious to all, choose where to spend it wisely. Benefit of going in-store: touch and feel and try on clothing (because women's clothing has no consistent sizing and then there's the shrinking fabric situation).
@Lyssia510 -that man was self-absorbed in his clear attempt to move into your spot in the line. Or has a medical condition that makes him oblivous to other people's body language/facial expressions. Good thing you did not have any Nerf type toys in your cart...
The UK is also falling for Black Friday sales and the mayhem over merchandise grabs.
Watched some BT clips of the Yorkdale gift card segments. One person had been in the line for the cards since 10pm last night! Another arrived at midnight! This is Toronto...2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

everyone is posting brags about their black Friday deals. and I feel bitter because the only thing I wanted to get was gone. it was a ninja turtles shell raiser tent on sale for 35$ that is not available on their website and of course no rainchecks

Endometriosis is flaring up so bad lately. Not to mention I'm pretty assertive I have a cyst also adding to the pain.. Same old story , meds making me nauseous and the pain contributing to it.

Oh, Candini, so sorry you are again in such pain and troubles.
Any chance of surgery in your case?
I know each situation with it is individual, but I have a niece and a friend who each had surgery and have been doing very well.

GOD
New big boss at work. He comes to me and says "torontogal12, you need to start doing X. It's so important "
I told him I have been doing X for years without anybody telling me to (or noticing, apparently). He says "well, we have to start doing it. etc"
I had actually just done X the day before but I could not finish it because he had a document that I needed.
He says he will give me the document. A week goes by. Never gives it to me
I take one day off and he starts starts blowing up my email with "why haven't you done this? It's been so long now and nobody will care anymore"
Starts copying my supervisor on it. Looks like about 10 emails about why it is so important and we need to do it NOW
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!?!?!?!Last edited by torontogal12; Sun, Nov 30th, 2014 at 09:31 AM.

I had surgery in June, As far as I know I can't have that surgery again for another 18 months. (Once every 2 years) I'm testing out a new medication right now but I just started so I have to wait 3 months to see results.
i take tramadol ATM, with regular Advil to stop inflammation and depending I have ketorolac ( spelling? ) just a stronger type of Advil , I've tried various pain medicine since I was 15 and tramadol is the only thing that works. Ive been given Percocet as well but it can be addictive so I'd rather not deal with that
Anything with codeine has made me super sick in the past and I Just noticed ketorolac/toradol is the same.Last edited by Candini; Sun, Nov 30th, 2014 at 11:23 AM.
