Went to loblaws, was walking around to an aisle where an older couple was standing looking at items, woman near items, man closer to cart. She sees me and turns around to her husband and says ' Oh of crying out loud could you watch my purse so nobody takes it!! ' It took a lot out of me to "respect my elders" but ma'am I don't need your money and not all young people are out to get you. Sh*t.

Doc appointment at 230 today, apparently the doc wasn't even booked to come in. Thanks for wasting my time.

Last week, I was walking home - pushing a stroller when my toddler finished drinking the drink I bought him. I noticed that right beside a big red Canada post mailbox, was a garbage bin. Convenient? i think so. It is difficult to push a stroller straight with one hand after all.

Well, the trick was the bin was outside the entrance to a subsidized apartment building. I didn't see the harm in using it, I put my letters in that mailbox all the time. No sooner than I dispose of the cup - a maintenance worker comes running towards me to chastise me about how that garbage is for the tenants of the building only. Now I can understand if I was tossing a whole Glad bag in there but an 8oz styrofoam cup? Would he prefer me to litter on their grounds? (Not that I would.) Sorry but I just found it d0uchey of him to be such a stickler about it....still do.

And I'll do it again damn it!

I would have pulled it back out and left it on the ground. At least that way he'd have something to do besides ing about you using his garbage can.

Did you try downloading the drivers from the manufacturers website? Sometimes that works better than the disc.
Also if you had a printer hooked up to your computer before try deleting the printer and any software for it off your PC.

    Day 14 in the hospital.

I think I'm going to lose my mind if they don't release DD today.

She's getting better in some respects but worse in others. She's gotten to the point where she hates everything and won't let people touch her. She screams, flails, kicks, etc. so the doctors can't examine her and the nurses can't give her meds, etc. She's so sick of being here!

Plus DS is starting to act out at home and cries for hours because I'm not there.

They are trying to finding resources for DD so hopefully that happens today. How is it their "pediatric walker" is too high for a 6 year old? I'm happy to just buy one if I can just find one in our area. The ones online take 10 days and the doctors say that's too long to wait and that she'll probably only use it for 2 weeks.

We both just want to go home at this point.

I have been watching this thread to see any updates on your little girl. I'm sorry it isn't going well, you must be on your last nerve. Thinking of all of you, I hope they find a solution for you today.

    Thanks so much!

We are finally home. Our first nurse visit will be at 9pm tonight. Much later than I would have liked but at least we're home and they said they can make it up to an hour earlier each day (so hopefully we can make it 7pm in a few days).

They are still looking for a pediatric walker small enough for DD and setting up physiotherapy but that can wait the weekend.

She has 3 doctors appointments each week for the next 3 weeks and daily nurse visits plus physio (when it's arranged) but that's still better than being trapped in the hospital! So happy to be home!

So happy you`re finally home. Hope they can find what the problem is. Good luck with the walker.
