selling 2 more items on kijjij 11.00 coming to me on sat morning -good because after the 3-d baby viewing we are going out to lunch with her parents and us and my daughter-in-law's sister its her birthday -so threw together a small bag with a few bath stuff in it-see from shopping year round when something comes up -I usually have a gift ready -oh and cards too-bought a bunch at value village for 2.50 a big mixture -so that isa being frugal

Great job on being prepared for those unexpected surprise birthdays/celebrations, I too have a secret/surprise stash just in case

Thanks to all of you for your support and advice. I'm BF exclusively and it seems my body is into overdrive for milk production. Even though LO feeds every three hours, I still have to use a pump to relieve the pressure just before feeding or LO will not latch properly. (And now that any and all men are afraid to join this thread...) The lactation nurse said she was impressed that I could get so much at a time and being able to produce so much at four days after birth was just super.

However, it seems to come at a price since I've been referred to a different consultant concerning engorgement. (Sorry for the TMI, guys.)

Great that you are producing so much milk for your little sweet heart, I had lots of milk also I would sometimes spray (lol) but I did not have problems with engorgement, could you not just put warm compresses on your breast, I think I heard this before....do a google and check it out.

How is everyone's August budgets doing so far?

Any extra expenses you've accounted for?

Today I had to pick up this month`s prescriptions for DH and myself. I hate the start of a new year when the deductible is due.
Both Zehrs and FB had Cheerios on so I picked up 4 boxes with the code...gotta love free cereal. I`m waiting for 4 coupons in the mail so hope I can find more then with the code.
I think I`m suffering from frugal fatigue too. Really do have to get back on track though.

I hear ya about the frugal fatique, I too think I am suffering from it.

ok so im struggling here.. dh are joining neighbors next weekend for a garage sale, were doing a bake table/bbq.. what do you charge for cookies, mini muffins, bottled water, hams/dogs.?

I would say pop/bottled water/coffee $1.00 each, hotdogs $1.00, hamburgers $2.00, cookies/muffins depends on the size .25/50 each, good luck & have fun - I really suggest the coffee especially in the early am

Can`t give you any advice...never had kids...but I wish you lots of luck. Hope you can get some naps.

I have a question regarding something I read on another freebie site not this one of coarse Someone win a contest and the price was FPC'S for Ceasar dogs food,dry and wet,she said the retail price is 500$ and want to sold the price for 300$? I dont think its ok as well as the sell of free products you can get with coupons.What is your opinion on that guys? Why participate if you dont want to win the price,that make no sense for me...

I think a lot of people not all enter every contest they see. I'm not saying it's proper or unproper - I guess it depends on the prize. Maybe she entered just for the fun and ended up winning....

It could be a possibility.But I would consider trading in coupons or others FPC'S not necessary sell the coupons (prize)
