ExpiredSo i'm looking to trade some coupons (LOVE to trade )
And I just seem to find people with wish lists with coupons very rare and/or coupons i've never even heard of and/or 90% FPCs and/or GCs and/or call ins.. I mean how do you trade with these people ??
Or here's another, people who want your soul and your kids for a couple coupons.. I mean , they are in the end coupons and you have to trade to benefit yourself and what you can use but why for sooooo much
Then there's the people who don't answer, and the ones that go back and forth 500x for one simple trade. I know it can happen with little mistakes and details.. but it feels it's happening all the time..
I don't remember it being so complicated

Nah. A lot of lists are like that.
Pretty much why I stopped trading. You`re better off calling companies you are interested in and asking if they have coupons available.

this is the reason i basically gave up trading. on occasion my favorite coupon fairy send me a RAOK but other than that i jut gather my own coupons. its a huge hassle. my wish list was so simple and when looking to trade people just wanted waaaay too much and made waaaay too big of a deal about making sure they ended up with the better deal or whatever. ugh.
where did all the simple trading go?
I have TONS of coupons just sitting here, slowly going to expire simply because I dont want to deal with the hassle.

I traded with someone this summer.....and I'm not hard to trade with....but what she sent me was poo....trains are out of the question all together....total waste of time.....I like a nice simple trade and I always add extras...but man this year people have seemed to become greedy or something
....just be happy

I understand both ends of this. It is frustrating when I need/want a coupon, but cannot trade for it because I have no FPC's or Unicorn coupons...
However, on the other end, I have a pretty tough wishlist, and I hope I'm not construed as greedy, because I am able to find 98% of what I want/need, and it's only the obscure ones that I can't find on my own.
I certainly haven't traded even a fraction of what I did last year, or the year before.Getting back into trading - see my Trade and Wish Lists (under 'About Me' tab)

I stopped hosting trains when 4 of 7 of my trains were derailed. Then the ones I got back had expired coupons and one had all my boarding passes missing. I too find people asking for an arm and a leg for a simple trade. My coupons too go to waste.

I have a lot of coupons to trade but have not bothered trying. I look at peoples wish lists and I do not have anything that they are asking for. I have done 2 trades in the past one went very well and the other not so well so that frightened me off from trying again for a while. Now that I am ready i can't afford the trades lol
I don't think I would be a hard person to trade with as I don't really look at the coupons as a monetary they have no value to me if I am never going to use them myself. I will trade a high value coupon for a lower one, that lower one will mean more to me then the high value I will never use that will just eventually expire in my binder. I don't have a tradelist up but is there anything you are looking for let me know and I will see if I have anything.

tasha313 -I hear you I have traded with some new people lately -and I always give extras -but it is hard-I cant do virtuals -never have the coupons -I don't do facebook-so no free coupons for me (p.s don't care to do it at all)-so I decide to do a traditional train dec one -and both riders so far have taken 10.00 or more off so that makes me happy-I like to jump on traditional trains -I do find people are asking way to much sometimes -their high value 's are ridiculous-like for example twistos or oatmeal off the cereal box -like high value should be call-in -by the way looked at everybodies list on here if I had coupons to trade with ya I would -sorry but everytime I go to grocery stores -no tear pads -some people are greedy

I'm really trying to start trading more and more.
But I am just too damn lazy to make a trade list haha
I try and be very easy going and approach people by offering what I have and what would be great to receive in return..or RAOK. I'm never looking for a big 'pay-out'. More so just looking to dip my foot/feet in the trading world. More so just for fun. Does that make sense?! haha Maybe I too will develop a go-to trading group. What a fabulous idea
When I used to be on here it took me literally forever to make a trade list.. Now I started up again a month-ish ago and found it was nearly impossible to trade without one so I did. Thank god before my coupons accumulated too much ..
That's another thing that shows how everything changed before it was do you have this ? ya .. you have this ? ya boom thank you bye finished .
Now no tradelist not much trading happening. You're the one that has to look through everyone else's to see what they have and what you have and such.
