I have not been to the ballet in years. Its too expensive! I wish tickets were 20 dollars, that would be family friendly and then I would totally go. I love ballet though and I found out I am going to go with my work and accompany the youth I work with for free while being paid. Whoo hoo...hows that for a job! My job is kinda the best. Low pay but goodness lots of little perks.

Personally I'm not fond of The Nutcracker....but BALLET........sweet.
There's so many ballets I wish were closer to here that I could take the brood to. Mr P and I saw Covent Garden Ballet Company do Swan Lake when we were courting...I'd love the brood to experience the whole theatrical experience..
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

That's pretty amazing that your work does that for you because I bet you're pretty of deserving it. I've yet to been but have a good time!

Nice perk!
I agree the ballet is waaaay too expensive. You should check for youth/senior discounts in your city. Toronto has discounts for under 30 years old (but not for Nutracker, that's always excluded
)
Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.
Always use Ebates and get cash back at over 600 online stores! Use this link to get $5, FREE

NICE! I used to work for a company that had a tickets benefit and I'd get theater/amusement attractions throughout the year. Thanks to a flash contest at work one day, I won tickets to see an opera showing of Turandot....my boyfriend at the time showed up in jeans and a band t-shirt *facepalm* I'm surprised they let us in the door!
Anyway, that experience opened my eyes, and now I listen to opera frequently...wish I could go!
