Driveway is done! Wish it would stop snowing. Going to have a hot bath now I think. Can't start laundry till 7 but will do a load then and hang it to dry. (and put the load hanging to dry now away) Yeah, I'm finally back on my hanging to dry system, now just to keep at it!!

Everything done and then some. The rest of the night is for relaxing except for dishes. I see coupongirl that you were busy today too. Being misinformed regarding paperwork is never fun Angela273.
Hope your ear and your headache soon has you feeling better MrsSunshine. I have never known a child that didn't like macaroni J&C.
I have never taken my taps apart and cleaned them but I do clean around them with a toothbrush and vinegar soaked paper towel overnight.

I did. They said I would be insured but needed a letter from an electric company that checks out the wiring for safety saying it was okay. I was more wondering from people's personal experience…do you live in a home with Al wiring…have you bought one. Any problems with insurance/the home?
It doesn't surprise me that so many people are living in poverty. I am an Ontario teacher and my family is just making ends meet! We save a little, which is I suppose a better position than most. I hope the government makes their decision with care. A hike to $14 will drive up prices and cost people their job…some will be making more and other's will be out of work.Last edited by Granger; Mon, Jan 27th, 2014 at 09:20 PM. unfortunately true Granger..
dh is wondering who's going to be up the ante on paying out the retroactive payment, the companies involved at the time or the governments.
are cheques going to be written up to us.. or it will be put on a pay stub so that the government gets their share first.Be Strong

I've gotten to the point where I HAVE to write it down. I leave a paper on the side of the kitchen counter with a pen clipped to it so I put the day and time I take anything.
I actually tried not doing this any more - then ended up thinking did I or didn't I - and of course I would always err on the side of caution, not take a pain killer, then be hurting, but not risking double dosing.
Well, I'm at the end of an incredibly wonderful birthday evening - wonderful wishes from so many here on SC, calls from family and friends, and a great evening spent with my husband and son, eating too much, and getting spoiled, too!
Sigh!
