I found a recipe on one of the links shared in this thread. It is for chicken breasts cooked in apple sauce. I am planning on making it on Tuesday. Dh will be in Regina for appointments, so we don't know what time he'll get home at. I am not currently scheduled to teach, but I am studying for a university exam and have a meeting from 4:00-5:00pm that day. It would be nice to be able to pick LO up from daycare and know that the main part of the meal is already cooked.

I did the Turkey Stuffing recipe in post #47. It was good but not a knock your socks off recipe. I left it in for 8 hours and would recommend 6 hours only as the stuffing came out mushy even though the turkey was very tender. I had better success with recipes using packaged stuffing with croutons than making it with fresh bread. However it was still tasty and made 5 meals, 4 in which I froze and you can't beat getting turkey breast at half price either!

Ok, planning on doing some cooking this weekend for the week. Pasta sauce for sure. Pulled pork. Will make in the crock pot and then put in a container so easy to pull for a quick dinner one night.
