Wednesday August 24, 2016 - I am feeling fairly well today. At least I have some energy. I am just about to pop a peach pie into the oven. Hope it is to everyone's satisfaction.

Well, I am back from the Prosthetic Clinic. What I have is a temporary fix that will hopefully help me to get around better. I am not walking very well & it's hard getting around on a leg that is not fitting in a safe, practical & comfortable way. It will be back to the old drawing board & getting a new prosthesis. I need to go with a secure system & one that will serve me well. It has been a long time since my life has been normal & regular. I'm having coping problems big time.

Oy, I understand you feeling the last sentence, except with you, I sure wish you didn't have more troubles added to what you are already going through. Hoping that can be resolved soon for you, Loocie!

Hope and pray you are able to deal with your situation and still get around.Also that your replacement doesn't take too long in coming and will fit perfectly.

It's treatment Tuesday. I have to talk myself into eating brekkie, then take my drugs & see how it goes. I am leaning on a nice easy Tuesday. Then I am off treatment next week.

How's your mobility? I hope your trip to the hospital is, at least, comfortable.
DH has been given an extended hiatus from chemo until after a slated CT scan in October. We are so blessed!
Two friends whom we haven't seen in ages came and stayed the night last night. They are "homeless" as their house sale and purchase didn't jive. They treated us to a lovely supper at a local pub with lots of laughs and sharing stories and catching up. Medication for the heart and soul!!! So important for everyone. You seem to have some fine friends and family that help with that, too.
(Our new little doggie is such a sweetheart- Sadie the Schnauzer. She follows me everywhere and is currently snuggled up on the bed while I make my plans for the day.)
