yoo hoo for cheap Tuesday flicks!
Saw BFG first 10/10 ( I highly recommend this!!, especially if you have boys aged 6-8, most of them love fart jokes! )
Then saw The Secret Life Of Pets 9/10 well worth my time and money!!

I am so confused as to how I " missed " this book altogether?? I had 3 kids and for sure it was there during their time at school. My DD was the most enthusiastic reader of the group but all of us went regularly to the library ( and we even had a LibraryMobile that came and parked near our house once a week! )
Thinking I might just snag a copy from the library and read it now. Honestly the movie was so well done but I know the books they are based on often include so much more detail, so I'll have to read what I missed now.

"Lights Out".....
5/10 & that is being generous! it had a few scares that made me jump, but the story was non-existant.

Star Trek ( the newest one?? ) I am NO Trekkie, just along for the ride ( used Scene points and 2 pin codes for 3 free admissions!! ) I rate it 8/10 because I liked watching Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Karl Urban. Lots of crazy action, explosions, and some cute humour.

Zootopia 8/10
Lots of entertaining one liners and ongoing bits for the adults, and plenty of story line for the kids.
The Lady and I enjoyed it.DANGER

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny 6/10
Not much of a plot, but I love watching the fight sequences and all the other graceful moves the actors make.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 - 9/10
It was absolutely fabulous, and they have done the perfect setup for a third movie - and I hope they don't take long to make it.
Was thoroughly entertained, so glad all the oldies were back - I laughed lots, and cried lots!

Jason Bourne
9/10
Matt Damon is great! It has been 10 years since he was in a Jason Bourne movie, but he still got it! The villains are great too.
Made $60 million since being in the theaters this week.

Independence Day: Resurgence 7/10
It was just okay. Some cameo's weren't necessary and that time could have been spent developing more of the story. Like most sequels, it didn't live up to the first.
