Managed to get some papers sorted, some shredded and then we settled down and watched some old Hitchcock movies. Anyone remember Young and Innocent? If you ignore the dead body, it's actually a sweet little film with the cutest terrier (I *think* he's a Kerry Blue).

Off to actually do some work around here. I still haven't reorganized the laundry closet from last week. Eeeek. We'll see if either roommate offers to help me.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Spying on the neighbours were they up to anything interesting?

Great job on sorting, shredding the papers, doesn't it feel good to throw some of that un-needed stuff away.

Take it easy young lady, doctors orders

The best thing I ever did when I first moved to the condo and left home was buy several containers that are the perfect portion size for me.

I can suggest some idiot-proof recipes that you can make while you`re doing something else (basically, shove everything in a pot, leave to simmer for an hour or so, while you go have a life ).
I love bulk cooking as long as I am organized and have all ingredients on hand.

As you mentioned it's great for those days where we have no time or stamina and I have my fair share of no energy.

Do you have any chicken recipes?

What a sweet heart, I love sneakers especially those that are super comfy you forget you have anything on your feet.

I was wondering if you could take a moment to click on this link & vote for CARD.

The Canadian Association for the Riding Disabled is a marvelous organization who makes an incredible difference in the lives of both children & adults. They are hoping to be awarded $10.000.00 that will help them further their cause enormously. Thank you for your consideration.

My weekend was tiring but I'm happy, I love running around behind my kids and catering to them, giving them there "MOM" time . Because all too quickly it's Monday and there's back at school.
Having a slow morning, catching up on Sc, I'm all catch up now, so I should get to work and start laundry/cleaning up.
My meal plan for this week is:
Monday - Chicken wings with fries/onions rings and garden salad.
Tuesday - Pork chops with mashed potatoes and bush's baked beans.
Wednesday - Pasta with meat sauce and home made garlic bread.
    Thursday - Tacos.
Friday - Sweet and sour shrimp with rice.
Saturday - Chicken strips with baked potatoes.
Have a great day all .
So how is your young lady liking school these days?

Speaking of shrimp - Red Lobster has their annual all you can eat shrimp...wish I had the cash & that one was closer and oops I am on a diet so poop poop poopy doo (lol)

2nd load of laundry (whites) is now hanging outside to dry,

Jaden's recipe for spaghetti sauce is in the crockpot - decided to use his as it's delish and the guys all like it so figured better safe than sorry with my crew anyways

Going to declutter my closet after my soap (Days of our Lives)

Promised the guys I'd make apple crisp pie for dessert so will do that later this afternoon.

Now off to make lunch for dh & I (homemade soup from the freezer and a Panini with that for dh).

    Have a wonderful afternoon all!

Boy some of these menu plans sound very yummy. I usually just plan one day at a time tonight will be pulled pork with homemade buns, veggies and fruit crumble. Got my groceries today-cashed in $30 of airmiles and PC points and used some SDM coupons so the price was reasonable.

She is loving it, she waited so long to go, always watching the older ones go and not been able to until now.
    Thank you.
Np I'll set a place for you , I grew up with a Mom who always thought that you should cooked more, just in case the neighbor drop by at supper time.
I picked up a couple bags from the SS for $7.98 per bag on the weekend, we love it, can't eat it as much anymore (too expensive) but when I see a good sale I try to get some.

Yes I saw the Red Lobster ad, and DD wants to go for her Bday (we'll see) it cost a lot especially when your taking the whole family, much cheaper when I buy it and make it .

I'm starved now reading all these meal plans. Lunch today is leftover pasta from Date night Friday and it was amazing! Good thing about eating lunch at your desk is not wandering the stores and spending $. And it forces you to bring your lunch Should have a pick up tonight and more $ to the jar. Will report tonight it they show up

    Good Afternoon All,
Thank you so much for the kind words.

Oh how I would love a week off, we are just over 3 months from shut down, our last day will be the 19th so 3 months and 4 days.

We do try yo do batch cooking, my biggest issue right now is freezer space, my two downstairs freezers desperately need to be cleaned out but I just have not found the time, if only I could put more hours in the day. With that being said staying up late is not option, did not get to bed until about 10 last night by the time we were done the tomatoes and I am SO feeling it today.

Tonight after work, I need to get the following done (Hopefully if I put it in writing I will achieve it)
Make Granola (Out of Cereal so I have been skipping Breakfast and not eating anything until about 10 am, 5 hours after I get up)
    Empty Dishwasher
    Re Load Dishwasher
Locate my Laundry (I left the last load downstairs did not carry it up and it was not waiting for me outside my room nor was it downstairs)
Put away my haul from the weekend
Tidy up the Clothes on my floor (I swear my clothes are attracted my floor, must be magnetic pull, working so hard to get them all put away and than I noticed a few things on the floor this morning)

Tonight's dinner will be potato soup which I made yesterday which means I just need to reheat it might have a couple potato buns with it. Hopefully if I can work pretty quickly I can get to bed early.

    Everyone have a wonderful day.
