I'm sorry you didn't get whom you wanted to see elected. Ithink all votes count though. Even if it's a spoilt ballot, those votes get counted too. You can never tell when it's going to be a close vote and maybe someday, it might come down to yours. Please don't give up on our voting system!

Thank you to everyone who made it out to make your voice heard on election day.

Gosh, these years have flown by SO quickly. Those of you with little ones, cherish EVERY minute! (yes, even the ones which are difficult!)

I had gone into the hospital the evening before he was born, for the first induction, but that didn't work. They put me on the drip the next morning, I was in labour all day, then had to have an emergency c-section because his heartrate was too low. All was fine, but the cord was wrapped twice around him - so very grateful all turned out well! He was born just before 6 p.m.

The Sunday when I went into the hospital, we had walked over - our apartment building was just a field over, so we walked over green lawn.
However during that Monday, it snowed and snowed - it was absolutely crazy how much piled on through the day - so much so that my Mom couldn't come travel to see us til that Wednesday, and my sisters a few days later.

So here's my boy, as a little one and now:
Happy birthday, Milan! What a cutie when he was little. Awwww!!

I keep telling LO to stop getting older, but she is being very disobedient in this. Soon, I won't be able to pick her up anymore. She is getting heavier and heavier.

Happy Birthday to Milan. Such a cutie!

Went to London to see the kidney specialist this morning. He was mostly pleased with my progress. Had to get more bloodwork for the water intake study. We stopped in Dublin for lunch but the restaurant was full so we just came home. I`m still having a lot of pain so I`m off to bed.

    Hi All,

The new back door is in , dh just needs to put more spray foam on the inside (between the shims & 2x4's). Dh is going to locate the wood that he will be installing as the outdoor trim around the door, I will bring them inside so that they dry out and I can stain them and then he can put them up.

The inside around the door is a whole other story, dh needs to do some drywall work, trim etc but Jaden's future bedroom is a much bigger priority so the door stuff will get done over the winter or so that's my plan .

Having ham tonight for supper and whatever leftovers is they are no in the mood for ham.

Dh is picking Jaden and his friend up from football for the next few days, last game is Wednesday.

As well tonight Jaden and his buddy will be getting a drive by dh to attend a free movie night at school (free movie, free popcorn) and bring a drink from home, he said they are selling drinks at the movie/school but I'll bring 1 from home so I don't have to buy 1 . They are slowly realizing that everything costs $ and $ doesn't go that far .

Well off to get started on a few things before Logan gets home.

PS tonight is Jill's wedding from 19 kids and counting starts at 8PM - folks, can't wait.

Wow, I can't believe one particular person got voted to serve Toronto again.....do people have such short memories in the East lol Rainy day here on the west coast - feeling rather blue and need motivation. Thankful for a warm home and low costs to heat!! Our gas consumption costs actually went down for this winter - how rare is that!

Didn't have a plan for dinner and starting to not feel well and almost picked up takeout. But skipped that to make something. Had buns left from weekend so put potato puffs in oven ( free Cavendish) pulled homemade burger patties from freezer and sliced up cucumber for veggie. Everyone is happy. Took a whole chicken out of freezer and have defrosting. Will get ready for crockpot in the morning. Will serve with mashed potatoes, gravy and fresh asparagus sautéed with garlic. All on hand so no shopping needed.
