Good Morning All.

Quite pleased one of my items i listed on ebay sold overnight - now just awaiting payment. First sale on Ebay!

I think today we are just doing laundry and relaxing. BF took the day off to spend with me (such a sweetheart) Maybe barbequing pork chops today for supper.

If we were closer Id be saying we are going to my neice's 3rd birthday party but...we're 14.5 hours away I did however make sure we ordered her birthday gift to be delivered to her back in March. It arrived the 23rd of April so I know we arent the late ones! She's all about frozen so I ordered a talking Sven and Olaf set of plushies.

Right now all i hear is BF rooting around in the deep freeze muttering about bacon. I think hes hoping to find some in there.

Happy Sunday! Dinner last night at my moms. I brought ceaser salad and everyone loved it. Tonight we are having pork chops on the bbq with ceaser salad, rice or potatoes and veggies. Tomorrow night chicken stir fry since we have tons of veggies to use up. Tuesday night tacos and salad! Soft wraps are only 88 cents this week at Food basics. Have towels drying outside. Going to make ds a quick grilled cheese then take him to baseball. Then home for dinner then to rink for ball hockey select team tryouts!

Well I may be a little crazy but I just did bought the Canaidan Tire GC deal at FOodland. Buy a $50 GC for $42.50. Decided to pre-pay for gas since I can use money coupon in flyer and get paper ct $ when paying with GC. I bought $600 in GC's cost $510.00. Good deal I think! And im thinking of buying more.

Here's my update.

I've received more free baby girl and boy clothes over the last week. I picked up the double-stroller, free newborn diapers, and free dresser. Dh glued the drawers back together and the dresser is pretty sturdy. It only have 4 drawers, but it's tall enough to be 6 drawers. The drawers are that deep. I sorted all the baby girl clothes that I have received so far. She possibly has enough clothes from 0-9months. I washed, dried, sorted and put away all her 0-3month clothes. Her clothes are in the top two drawers of the dresser and there is still room. I currently have all the 0-3month baby boy clothes that I have in the house (I have more in the shed still packed away from LO), in the dryer. I'm going to sort these and put them in the bottom two drawers of the "new" dresser. This will work for now, until we get a second dresser for baby boy. I also know that this will work until their clothes get bigger. I currently have 2.5 dozen banana chocolate chip muffins in the oven for LO. He is completely out of muffins again. I need to bake him more apple sauce muffins another day this week, that way there are options.

I also started packing a large box that I am referring to as the "if sh*t hits the fan" box. This is the grab and go box if we need to suddenly leave to Saskatoon for the twins. I am having a hard time determining what amount and size of baby clothes to pack in this box. I was on the verge of tears when I was picking out her clothes for the box this morning. I plan on doing the same with some baby boy clothes later today. I have a list in my phone of things to pack in the box. I'm packing basic hygiene items for babies and myself, stuff for the hospital, etc. I am hoping that this box just gets brought with us because it is already packed, not because we need to leave in a big hurry.

It's still an interesting feeling knowing that I only have 1 month of teaching left before I go onto medical leave. With the amount of pain that my back was in last night, I'm somewhat looking forward to it. With the cost of childcare for our 3 young children, it is likely that if I do not have a teaching contract, then I will not being going back as a teacher until LO is in Grade 1 at the earliest.

This is what my week currently looks like, plus knowing that I am still "on call" as a substitute teacher and will change plans accordingly.
Monday: Do specialized bloodwork for hematologist appointment and also do my glucose challenge test. Go to NF for sale items, hopefully they do not run out. Arranged our regular babysitter for LO so that we can go to the new Avengers movie with friends.
Tuesday: Afternoon meeting. 10% off Tuesday grocery shopping.
Wednesday: alternate date for bloodwork.
Thursday: teaching Grade 3 in town, Catholic school
Friday: teaching Grade 3 in town, Catholic school

Angela-sounds like you are well organized for the twins. I currently have the 6 month old twins fed, changed and asleep in their car seats upstairs as their Mum has taken the big boys to swim lessons and their Dad is catching up on house repairs. DH has taken DD out for some needed school supplies. Suddenly the house is very quiet again but I am sure it won't last for too long!

Angela, wowsers - lots to do for you, I just can't imagine it!

I wasn't feeling well, so I didn't go to church this morning.
But, such is the power of social media - before my husband is even home, there are pics posted on FB by the priest's son of today's celebration - it's the church's feast day - and I see my sweetie in some of the photos.

Waiting to find out the name of the royal princess; I think it will be Charlotte.

Going to make the rounds on here, then to bake banana muffins, and start to prep some of supper.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Feels wonderful to have all of windows and doors open a really air the house out.

So far we have dealt the Ground Beef we bought. Discussed it with Mom and decided we need to cut back on the amount of meat we eat so instead of breaking it down into 1 lb packages we did 4 - 1 lb packages and 7 - 1/2 lb packages. So for $29 we have enough meat for 11 meals which works out to approximately $2.63/meal.

I need to start packing soon, plus I did not pick up anything to take with me to eat well away so time to raid to fridge and see what I can come up with. Good news is my hotel room has a fridge so I can take some food from home as try to keep on track with my eating. It is funny with spring here I am craving more healthy foods but finding it hard to eat right. I think we need to get into pre planning and prepping as our schedules are so all over the place we are lacking on the meals we want.

Still need to deal with Ground Beef/Pork.

Well feeling blah beige....it' just one of those days, I could cry at the drop of a hat but really trying not too. Parents came for a visit, I mad toasted ham & lettuce sandwiches but I have no clue what's for supper and frankly I don't care....sigh.....Really hoping this low mood that has been around since last week disspears oh well 1 would think I would be used to this depression thing but nope. Oh well, no re-use it centre today as dh is napping and he's so tired as he didn't sleep well, I personally think it's due to his long (3-4) hour naps in the afternoon oh well, pain make him so tired. Wishing everyone a great evening, the sun is shining and the windows are open, nice fresh air

Good afternoon everyone,
I am having a good health day so I have made a few accomplishments! I pulled a large round roast from the bottom of the freezer, time to use it up I bought it for 2.00 a pound last June at No Frills, I bought 10 in all and have we ever enjoyed the stews, beef dips and braises, I am sad this is the last one, pretty sure I won't see that price again.I slow roasted and will shave it with the meat slicer, will save some for sandwiches and pack the rest with aujus and into the freezer for easy suppers after my surgery.I will bring over some to my oldest daughters for their supper tonight along with a Caesar salad, she had a work related week end retreat and I know she will be exhausted when she gets home.
I was up bright and early to pick up my middle daughter to do a no frills run, I couldn't pass up some of the deals, chicken thighs were 2.00 a pound so it was a good time to use my 4.00 chicken coupons, for 8.00 I got 26 thighs, they will be nice to have on hand for the barbeque or for butter chicken. Lets of great produce deals so I am stocked for the week, I have to buy milk tomorrow, my son has been away so we have milk going bad in the fridge, will freeze and use for baking.

Went to BIL for lunch today. When I left to go to the shower hubby stayed there. Told him I`d be back after to pick him up but his sister told me they`d see that he gets home. She made such a big deal about it that I felt like I was being told "there`s the door...what`s your hurry." Don`t know when she`s coming for a visit but I`m betting it`s Wed. She knows I have to go to Goderich so she asked if hubby goes too or if he`ll be home.

The shower was very nice..come and go so no stupid games. Caught up with some of the ladies from the community that I never see.

-daughter and her hubby came for a visit today from 1100 ti 12 -they didnt go see "ashlyn" as she had a fever and she was not herself-she slept 3 hours
my daughter in-law said she needed baby advil -so I offered to buy it and take it to her -so at 1.00 p.m walmart was super packed -got it and got out
-had a bbq tonight burgers ,bean an cesar salad -my water heater leaked all over basement-its 30 years old -so repairguy came need a new one -no cost to us thou as its rented-but our furnaces is on its last legs -so saving for future jobs around our house

Yay 3 of my 7 items listed have sold on Ebay. Has anyone sold items on ebay? if so how much did the listings cost and how long did payment take to receive from Ebay itself?

I went to the shed and found 3 more stick of ram however these ones will fit one of refurbished computers for sale to increase the value and i'll bump up the ram in the computer for the boys as well so its a tad faster.

Feeling quite content with my ebay bravery today.

We tolerate each other. Don`t know what I ever did to her but it`s probably a good thing we live so far apart.

We`ve never been close but I think maybe she didn`t like a comment I made when her golden son got a divorce a couple years ago. She was complaining about her DIL...who by the way, we think is a saint for putting up with his BS for so many years. She made a comment about only the lawyer benefiting. I told her...and I speak from experience...that most divorced people have a lawyer story to tell.
