I went to a free concert in the park tonight with my db. A local concert band gives free concerts all summer on Wednesdays. This is the first one we've been able to get to. Great night!

Used Google Voice to make a couple of LD calls. One was 50+ minutes long - to an elderly aunt who lives alone and is pretty much homebound, so she's very chatty when I call
SilkHave a great life!

Was at loblaws and they had a huge clearance table of plants for 0.14. I bought 3 tarragon plants! Which was great because I love fresh herbs and I was out of this in my cupboard

Yesterday a neighbour brought me about 10 cups of wild blackberries she had picked...N/C. She will be dropping off rhubarb later today as her garden is over run with it.
DH brought me home 2 more Stouffer pins from work...loving his friend at work who is too lazy to cook and/or who can't be bothered to enter pins.

Today I took a good look at our bills and cancelled a few subscriptions that we haven't been using fully over the summer.
Kindle Unlimited $9.99/month savings (This will come back once winter hits, I love this service and read a lot over the winter.)
Netflix $8.99/month savings
CraveTV cancelled before the trial month is up potential savings of $4.00/month
Extra channel package on our basic TV, decided I can live without HGTV until the snow flies again $5.99/month savings
It doesn't seem like a lot but that's $28.97 per month, the little bits add up.
Also, had a free lunch and supper today courtesy of work.
Lastly, evaluated how much I will need to take the bus this next month. Since DH is home sick for the next 4-6 weeks, I'll be taking the bus more often. $18 saved by thinking aheadI bought a full month pass compared to just buying 10 passes at a time.

@beckie.c Awesome job! Is there a friend you can share a Netflix account with? (if you decide to get it down the road again)

Today took back a product that I had bought thinking I could MIR it. (Air Wick) When I checked the form, I would have to have bought it by June 30, but it could still be mailed in. That added $14.and something back on my PCMC.
Went to Timmies today for the first time in a long time with my db. I am on a dairy and sugar free diet so I've stayed away. I had a 12 grain bagel - toasted- with no butter (they didn't have margarine) and a cup of ice water. So the visit would have been $1.80 if I hadn't treated my db.

This also a great place to Buy books cheap! Hardcover in Ottawa are 2$(or last few weeks 1$) and softcover 3/1$. There is even an archive sale each month where 95% of the books sold there are 5/1$..hardcover or not. Sometimes they will have several boxs of books/magazines that they are giving away for free.
