Well, I guess I am no Arnold Schwarzenegger! My shoulder is so sore today from wrestling with those pesky weeds!!!! I think I am going to have to go and get it checked out as it has really been bothering me recently if I just move it in a certain way. One of those moves is putting my purse in the back seat of the car if I am sitting in the driver's seat. OUCH!

Took some time today to take a neighbour to our church to help the UCW(United Church Women) as their was a province-wide conference being hosted there. I could only offer a couple of hours and we arrived at a down time so we weren't of much help but then made a run over to RCSS and then had a tea and muffin at Tim's.

I had seen on the clearance rack a giant "cupcake" set of pans the other day. The kids at our church are hosting a "cupcake walk" tomorrow to raise money for the Syrian Refugee family that our church communities are sponsoring. I went back to see if I couldn't still see it as I thought it would be fun and I had picked up a cake mix on clearance last week for .27. But it was gone. If I have enough energy, I will try to make some cupcakes tonight but that means another trip the store for eggs and frosting.

I have put in the oven the ST. Hubert' s tortierre that I picked up last week. It is smelling good.
I have some beets and sweet potato leftovers that w8ll round out the meal. Hope DH can be talked into having some.

    Well, supper calls.

    Have a great evening!

Hamlet our other ginger cat who is much younger than Claudius and was a teensy little ball of orange and white fur when we got him now weighs 14.5 lbs!! Poor old man Claudius weighed the same on this check up as he did a couple of yrs ago! ( 12.5 lbs )
I just knew Hamlet was going to be a bigger cat once he started sprouting!!

    small update on Claudius
,He came through it all so good! The staff fell in love with him and said he is JUST so easy going, he allowed them to do whatever they had to with no nastiness at all. Then in recovery, again he was such a sweetheart!( well we already knew that about him, lucky for them it wasn't Hamlet they had to deal with....ha ha ) So we are now a tad poorer, but very happy that he is no longer in pain and maybe now he will stop biting his fur out.Hoping DH can catch some O.T. now hours to fill in the gap.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Apparently my body did not get the memo that it is Sunday as I was up at 4:58, wide awake no going back to sleep. So I have started the laundry.

I see a few people are interested in some of my stuff so I will see if I can arrange some pick ups and get some of this stuff out the door.

Not sure what the day will bring yet, Mom is home so we will see once she gets up. For now I will enjoy a nice cup of tea.

    Have a great day everyone.

Good day! Laundry is almost done! Went to No frills this morning while DS was at his friends house, now my teen is home to watch him so going to pop out to GT and RCSS. Have a porch pick up this afternoon from a regular. $10 for the summer fun jar. Dinner tonight is ribs on BBQ (we baked in oven last night
) with fries, ceaser salad and green beans. Off I go! Enjoy the sunshine. I cleaned out all of the garbage and flyers out of my vehicle, finally!!

Went to a baby shower yesterday. A little different because he us their 3rd baby so we all took casseroles to help out. Bf made me a bacon mac and cheese with meatballs to take. He doubled it so we had a second lasagna sized pan for us for supper too.

Today is the minor hockey bottle drive and im sure noticing a change in donations compared to last year. More people are saying no they just turned them in.

I bought stuff on Facebook thus morning. Usually i sell but there were some very nice jeans and a cardigan that are my size ive been eyeing for a month and finally decided to purchase. I intend to take a couple pairs that no longer fit and sell later this week. One in one out!
Will bepicking up some pjs jeans snd tops for our youngest. ..he keeps growing and fb purchases make teenage growth spyrts more affordable

Been doing transcription on the side and it works out so far to ab extra four to five hundred a month. This is been out in my credit union account to pay for car maintenance last month and will probably replace my phone in may because i dropped it getting the mail...didn't nitice for half an hour and by the time i went back for it it had been run over
(never know MAYBE i ran it over too)

Has anyone ever started bleeding hearts indoors? We bought 7 for $15 to start because our greenhouse charges $45 per plant. Shockingly....theyre blooming already!

Did the laundry drying outside yesterday for two blankets and a load of towels washed. Gave the living room tables their semi-annual furniture polish after the room was vacuumed-had the windows open for awhile as well (but that wind had a cold edge).

Noticed I have acquired a sunburn on the backs of both hands today-have been scratching them for over an hour. Why oh why did I not purchase sunscreen from the display at Shoppers (I was snack shopping) ? At least my floppy hat was on or my face would be giving me trouble too.

I will stop at my "food" Shoppers to pick up more roasted seaweed snacks and see if Dr. Pepper can be found in 6pks. This store also carries prepared single serve meals and frozen entrees-wished I lived near that store!
2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I was able to step out to some stores while dh was home with the kids. I left while the twins were down for a nap. Twin boy was still asleep when I returned an hour later. I pm'd, used points offers, collected a little CT money, used coupons, and used 2 different rebate apps. I'm happy with it. I was quite glad when I found dried cranberries at NF because Sobeys hasn't had tubs of dried cranberries in about a month. I use a lot of them in my baking.

I just posted my winning CO-OP tickets up for trade, which included 2 free Big Cools Slush 796ml. Dh loves 7-Eleven Slurpees, but doesn't want these.

Our house sitter a couple weeks ago sat on the deck box and fell through. Today we took the hit glue gun and sealed the crack then taped it up with hockey tape. Eventually we will replace it with a waterproof storage bench but it wll keep things dry now until we find what we want.

Bf also figured out how to take the winter front off my flex. Took him all of 5 minutes. It now bothers me we paid $90 last fall for the dealer to install it while bf was hurt!

I hemmed a couple pairs of pants. Fixed a pair of jeans for one of the boys and some seams on my yoga pants,.

We also replanted seeds as some of our tomato n cauliflower plants died. Then we shaved one of the dogs.,.got rid of some mats in his ears. Then clipped both dogs nails.

Today turned out to be more protective then expected.

I had laundry done by 10 and Mom helped me fold it (I hate folding her laundry she is very picky). She has since washed her bedding we just have to re make her bed.

We went downstairs for about half an hour and worked on the stockpile room, at that point Mom checked out but instead of getting mad I came up with plan B. Mom said she wanted to have a blah day and catch up on PVR so I suggested we clean off the couch. Our couch has become a catch all place in our house since most of the house is nonfunctional we do everything in the living room. So our crafting stuff, my work stuff and basically anything and everything we use lands here. To my surprise she agreed and we have spent our afternoon cleaning up the couch.

She said tomorrow she is going to do the stockpile room well I am not home, finger crossed. Once she does that I can move all of our small appliances out of the dinning room for temporary storage in the stockpile room well we clean out the dinning room. We need to move around the furniture in the dinning room and the only way to do this is to empty the room. Not to mention this is where we keep catching mice so I am kind of scared of what we might find.

I am starting to feel like we are making progress here and just hope we can keep up the momentum.

Also have a few pick ups schedule, not a lot of money but a little so that will help.

    Have a great night everyone.

    Good (?) morning, everyone.

I'm off to see my Mom & get her to the cancer centre. She's not feeling well (she needs the fluid taken off her lungs & since Friday's surgery was cancelled, she really can't wait 2 weeks til the Dr gets back from holiday). My Mom doesn't complain, so I know that it has to be bad for her to be willing to go along with my plan of just showing up (it's standard protocol with other clinics, the twit that called my Mom to tell her about the surgery being cancelled told her to go to emergency if she isn't feeling well, which seems ridiculous to start from scratch with folks who don't have her medical history, sigh).

Not sure when I'll be back.

Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day.

Morning. Sun is shining. I have a porch pick up today for $10. And I am taking the afternoon off since my honey is getting off early. We have been so busy the past few weekends that we haven't had a good quality afternoon just the 2 of us for awhile. So we are taking a drive to the casino for free lunch/dinner and enjoying us time. I get so much vacation that I need to remind myself to use it on days like this!
