Morning gang.
Pardon my french...I'm just f***ing pissed off that it took 3 hours for me to get into work this morning, because there was less than 1 cm of snow on the ground. My main highway coming down to HWY 401 was snowy and people were still moving safely at the speed limit. G*d Damn F***ing idiot city drivers. Yes I say city drivers, driving their soft top convertibles, slipping and sliding around in 1 cm of snow because you couldn't be bothered to put out the money for snow tires. I could have gotten out and walked faster than 50% of the vehicles on the road this morning. There is no reason to be driving less than 30km/h on wet roads, not snowy roads...wet roads.

Need to go calm down.
Going to get a coffee...in the kitchen so I don't have to go back out on the road to a Tim's!

Not sleeping is my enemy, it's gotten ridiculous lately. I feel like a total zombie!

Good early evening!!!! Happy Thursday!!! My right feet still hurt I am waiting to have a call back for another kind of x ray ...they want me to go in another city ..but no...I will wait their call...Thanks god my week of school is finished altrought it was not a big one and yesterday afternoon I was sick (nauseous) ....but not really a holliday tomorrow as I want to work in my books and this week end too.Went to movie theater tuesday to see midway...fabulous movie,very historical and realistic,I highly recommend it.Splurged on some popcorn and some pepsi was expensive but the movie was 50% off the tuesday so 6$ something..the popcorn and pepsi combo was more expensive than the movie huh...Supper is leftovers from the week.I want to see maybe next week last christmas and go sunday to the defile du pere noel(Christmas parade) in downtown.Did the cleaning of my purse and was surprised by the amount of change and 5$ I found catching lol...

whew! It took a bit BUT I managed to read through ALL the missed posts. We had NO INTERNET for about 35 hours.
Teksavvy is usually very reliable BUT when I finally phoned a recorded message stated there was an " outage " or some technical glitch that affected ONTARIO!!?
Really?
ALL of Ontario?
Good thing I don't really NEED the internet, as in to run a business or anything.

So... @Lynn49 ...YES!! I watched ALL of day 1 of the Impeachment on tv. It was delicious to watch those 2 dedicated ( and decorated ) government officials testify. Who doesn't get a chuckle out of a grown man wearing a bow tie?!
Anyhow the best mike drop came when Democratic Congressman Peter Welch responded to a comment made by Republican ( loudmouth ) Jim Jordan

If you had heard Jim Jordan's comment, he was referring to the whistleblower as being the " person who started this all " but Welch flipped the script on him!! ha ha

The other tidbit of NEW info was that Sondland had made a call on his cell phone to Trump while in a restaurant in Ukraine and 2 witnesses now have said they HEARD Trump's voice on the other end asking about the Biden investigations! ha ha...There are loud talkers and then there are LOUD TALKERS!!

Enough Politics. There are Christmas things to ponder on now....haven't made up our dinner menu just yet, other than agreeing to roast a bird. Four of our birthdays come just before and just after Christmas, so yikes to me sticking to a diet.

Time for me to get watching a hockey game.....later all!
oh almost forgot! @danger_dan what a lot of nonsense that snowy commute was for you ( again). I hope the post of that lovely puppy helped lower your BP!!

Busy day here DR appointment and a few errands to run. So will tidy my family room before I leave. @walkonby I know now what you will be watching today you and my mom and doesn’t know how many billion people will be clued to the TV. On Wednesday when it aired all I get to say to my mom when I called was Hi she was too busy. @Natalka hope you had a good night sleep

Not a whole lot on the to-do list for me today.
1. Pick up a book at the library ( that hold came through fast! )
2. shuffle DS off to a scheduled CT scan ( trying not to allow my mind to wander/worry )
3. mini shop for a top up, not really OUT of anything.
4. tune in " for a bit " to the televised Impeachment hearing.
5. tune OUT the voices in my head that tell me to eat foods not on my list!

See? not much going on.

I am feeling fine at this moment, so that is a good thing! Nasty evening - it's hard to have such a rough time when my son is over for a visit, but we still had a few great talks. The guys ordered supper, but I was just able to have soup - and that was probably only a quarter cup. Weighed myself this morning, down two more pounds. Believe me, I would rather be eating and gaining some pounds; this is not a diet I would wish upon anyone...

I was able to sleep a few hours towards morning. Hoping I can catch a snooze during the day.
