Oh @Natalka ! That procedure sounds so painful! You have come so far in those 2 years! I'm so glad you have such a great health team with you along the way, and a family that's so very supportive!
My friend came over for supper tonight with her doggie. She takes care of Tootie when I am away. We had a great chat and started watching a shmaltzy movie. She had to leave and although she said she doesn't like shmaltzy movies, she made me promise to tell her how it ends.
Then she left her purse here, so, I guess we'll see each other tomorrow.
Going to wish you all the best for the weekend!

@Natalka....here's one for you...when I broke my leg I was in awful pain, I don't know how I managed to have my Hubby drive me the 1 hr or so from the campground (Grundy Park) to our hospital while I clenched my knee to myself, but I did...they put me into a wheelchair, took me right in, pumped me full of morphine (I guess) and took x-rays. My Hubby had to go back to the park to retrieve Jenny from our friends' trailer, hook ours up and get home. Meanwhile, my DD kept me company...I remembered, about 2 weeks later, that she brought junk food, and silly magazines like People and such to keep me company until they got me to my room and I fell asleep. My DH returned and she went home.
But here's the thing: the next day I was wheeled into the surgery and there was my surgeon and her 3 nurses, perhaps one anesthesiologist, and they were to lift me from my gurney onto the surgical table.
ALL I remember, was my surgeon counting...one, two, three, they tried to lift me, I screamed and that's all I remember.
I passed out from the pain.
Well if I ever thought no one could pass out from pain, I was reassured that day that yes, one certainly CAN!
The next time I saw her for her visitation the next day, I said something like "I guess I made it easier for you all to get me onto the table..." and she just smiled and didn't say anything like..."Yes, that damn nurse near your leg didn't hold the sheet firmly enough, causing your leg to buckle at the break...!"....
So yep...I understand that kind of pain...but we're warriors, right?
We survive!!!

a Happy Caturday to all!!
Oy!! @Lynn49 my legs went all creepy tingly reading about the way the pain caused you to black out.....what an ordeal that broken leg was for you. Thank goodness your body eventually healed. @Natalka as avon said it has been quite the 2 years for you. Each new symptom brought more pain, but a challenge you fought through. That takes incredible inner strength....wishing you much less pain for the rest of the journey back to your full recovery.
Another early day for me, will be doing the rounds at a few shops once I drop DD at work. Rexall for sure, we'll see what other stores deserve my attention.
Our Christmas day menu is nearly worked out, DH and I have decided to make more work for ourselves again this year doing a variety of small courses that will be served consecutively....then we all take a break...visit, sip more wine, exchange some gifts and eventually head back to the table for round two!
The main meal ( traditional stuffed bird with sides ) won't happen till much later. This way was so much fun the few times we tried it in the past and no one ends up feeling too full at one sitting.
Have fun out there in the Malls everyone....I will imagine the parking will be the challenge.

Good morning, folks!
Another mild morning, great for those who must brave the throngs of shoppers out there today. That won't be us!
@walkonby , I hope you bring your patience with you..or wait until Monday to head out there? Be careful esp in those parking lots; people get crazy there, driving too fast, not stopping or even checking for traffic while careening around looking for a parking spot. It's war out there, I tell ya!
We have a dinner and gift exchange this evening with all our friends on our campground street. We're a very exclusive club, donchaknow, lol! It'll be fun seeing everyone out of their camping t-shirts, hahaha!
Well, stay safe out there, everyone, or better still, stay home, sip wine and order online.

Well, @Lynn49 - it seems like I am cutting onions...
But, gosh, the pain of that transfer! Oy!
Thanks to all of you for being so supportive and so very kind!
Once in a while, my son will tell me something about me in my first hospitalization and I sure don't have memories of things from the beginning.
Like how very scared he and my husband were - but then he has a nice memory of coming to see me, and close to his words, I was all "starfished" on the bed, face relaxed and sleeping - so I knew I was drugged well, finally having a chance for some peace.
Back is bad this morning - I knew it would be sorer on the side the physiotherapist worked on, but it's the whole lower back. I just have to be careful...
Happy 🐈 urday!

I wonder, @GoJays ...seems like a pretty good idea to me (aside from the climb...I'd have to arrange for a helicopter)...it's one way to keep people away! Am I right! Eh? Heh, heh, heh...method in their madness, not to mention jammies all day!

We're back from a lovely evening with friends from our campground street...it was such fun seeing everyone out of their camp t-shirts, all dressed up..
Tomorrow, an easy day, kids may drop in after our SIL'S work luncheon...
I hope everyone's having a lovely weekend!
