Hello friends! I've been lurking for a while. Many things happening... It's our coldest night tonight.

busy day tomorrow. I haven't shopped for Valentines yet, but I have exercises and wellness in the afternoon and then a quick supper and I am going to the Symphony with a friend. So- zip- there goes the day.

Spent the evening typing up a bulletin for our Tenants' Association (The elected editor can't type! Oiy!) Our executive spent an hour this morning trying to figure out who can do what and when to get this bulletin out to the tenants so we don't all look totally incompetent.

Totally re-organized my kitchen countertop. Now- where to put those things that were just "hanging around?"

Took Tootie out for a pee and it was so cold that I am surprised that it didn't freeze like an icicle to her bum!

Working from home on this Frigid Ontario day...at least the rest of the weekend won't be this cold!
To all that are not at 100%, I hope all that ails you is sorted out soon.
To all that are without complaint at the moment, let's hope the moment lasts just a little bit longer than we expect!

Good morning and I hope everyone has a good Valentine’s Day and a nice weekend. Tomorrow I’ll be volunteering at the 5k parkrun again. I told them I can go every 2 weeks so I can sleep in once in a while on Saturdays. Hope everyone is doing well. Been feeling a mix of good and depressed but I try to push myself through it. My next mental health appointment is March 6th but I went through their wrap group. You mention your issues and discuss it with the others if you feel like it. That lasted 5 weeks every Wednesday and I got a graduation certificate lol.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!

Only 2 weeks and 1 day until we leave on our trippy! DH and I dropped into WM yesterday for some GF stuff that only they seem to carry, and what did I see?!! A Mickey Mouse display of t-shirts, ballcaps and.......sequined Minnie Mouse ears with a red sequined boy!!! Naturally I picked that up for our DD to give her today...she said she's going to wear one at WDW, and will have fun choosing which one (I like the rose gold ones myself ), but this'll be a fun thing to give her today...I also picked up a Team Mickey t-shirt for our GS, and found a very cute, subdued Mickey card for him that we'll slip some US money into, also.
I have a feeling that Minnie Mouse headband will be mine at WDW...hahaha!!
Anyway...I'm excited.

We're mostly out of the deeeep freeze we had when we did some running around yesterday, so it'll be nice for couples to go out for dinner, like our DD and SIL.

Anyone surprising their dearests with something today??

So nice to have the temp at -10 instead of yesterday's -40!

Yesterday I was still really sore from my physio session, but still kept moving as much as I could.

Home care nurse called to say they are too busy today so I can't be seen, someone will come tomorrow.

I had just laid down to listen to noon news on the radio, there was a knock on the door, I thought it was the home care nurse who found time to see me.
But it was the home care doctor, what a nice surprize!

The physiotherapist had spoken to her, mentioning that my legs were a bit swollen. Yes, they have been a trifle bit, not anything to worry about yet...
So she thought she would drop by to check herself and, no, there were no concerns. While here, she checked all my vitals, which were all good.

Now I am perky, and will have to wait a bit to get sleepy again.
