@Lynn49 - I have seen that roller before. I don't find it hard to roll holubtsi in my hand.
As for chopping, I have a small B&D to use if I need to, but I just do them myself. Yeah, it hurts after, but?
Hope everyone is having a fine day!

Wonderful day here! Spent the morning cleaning around the house and the afternoon catching up on UK telly! All in all a good day! Tomorrow some good shopping with some great deals found here on SC. A good week! Now just sitting in front of the fire with some fine Irish Whiskey!

Hi good morning my friends.
Hope you all had a great Family day weekend. Mine was good .
My younger DD was out of the house most of the time since she had friends coming from abroad and wanted to spend as much time with them as she can which is understandable.
It’s nasty out so if you have to be out and about be careful. If you have to shovel the snow take breaks it’s very heavy . I was out with my DH shovelling since something is wrong his snowblower.. Have a great Tuesday all

Hi, @walkonby...oh, I hear ya about gadgets and how they can accumulate before we toss them into a "thrift store" bag, to give away, lol. I actually wasn't too tempted by many of them, but with that Starfrit chopper? It saves me from cutting with a knife since that can make my hands and arms so sore. A few pulls, and everything is done....it's so fab for fresh homemade salsa.
Addicted to your new toy, Netflix, huh? We tend to turn to Netflix when there's absolutely nothing to watch on tv that's usually polluted with (gasp) reality shows. The other day when we were at their house shooting pool and giving him song requests (mine: always Lowdown by Boz Skaggs), our SIL just told us of a documentary on there...something like, "Echoes in the Canyon", a story about the early years of performers before they became famous, a gathering place for all sorts of artists. I still miss MamaCass.
Ok!! Enjoy your short week, everyone!!Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, Feb 18th, 2020 at 12:49 PM.

Happy Noon, everyone!
Weather warning here today, -42.
They are actually predicting a few degrees below zero by Thursday. Ha!
Nurse was here - the new blister on left foot has not popped, so she just rebandaged it. The right one has stayed closed and is healing.
Lots of back pain here, so it hurts a lot to walk, getting up and down. Will try to do the exercises I can.
Three day weekends are so good here, because I feel like I get my whole husband back on the third day. We made a big supper together, and I ate some of everything - pork roast, roasted baby potatoes, garden salad. I even had a piece of lemon meringue pie before bed.
I have stayed the same weight over this past week.
Just had a bit of lunch, half of a tuna salad bun and some slices of royal gala apple.
Have a terrific Tuesday, all!

Was snowing here today pretty good but still made it to the gym for spin class. My aunt had to back to the er because her eye infection came back. I definitely hope the meds they gave her work this time. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Happy to hear your cheerful news, @Natalka .
I'm pooped.
I got out to shovel a bit of the snow/ice/snow so that Tootie could find her preferred spots.
I have been sorting and purging and getting ready to organize paperwork for the tax season, and y'all KNOW how I LOVE that!!!
BrotherR and nephew came to swizzle my mattress around and hung a couple of pictures.
Nice! I have been washing Tootie's clothes, beds, etc. as it's so sloppy out there and she had to wander into deep snow to accommodate herself before I did the shovelling.
Ahhh- spring is just around the corner, I hope!
We spring forward before it even turns to Spring again this year.
Well these statements won't file themselves, so I had better get at it.
Does anyone follow "The Outlander?" I would like to chat about the first show if anyone cares.
See ya!
