I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

@Natalka !!!!!
Omgosh, it's been so long since I made Nalysnyky!!!
So next Friday the whole family will be here for our DD's 43rd b'day dinner and I'm going to surprise her with Nalysnyky! She just loves it, but it's one of those things either I don't think to make it or it seems like too much work, but not for her b'day!!
Anyway, I wanted some, too, so I found a gluten-free recipe for crepes, and they actually turned out perfect! So DH and I had Nalysnyky and a salad for dinner! I'll make the regular crepes for everyone else, I'll have the GF ones.
I'm also making...what did your Mom call it?....my Mom called Patychky: "Mock Duck"...some call it City Chicken, neither of which of course, has that particular meat in it.....Mine will be breaded with GF Panko crumbs, the others with Aurora seasoned breadcrumbs which are so yummy!
Not sure about the veg and other sides just yet. The Nalysnyky will be the first course. With cocktails before dinner, I'll make up a big charcuterie board and thank you, Breton, for GF crackers that are as good as the original ones.
She requested her usual dessert: Too Much Chocolate Cake (allrecipes.com) with raspberry coulis and fresh raspberries, whipped cream. Just once I'd like to make something different. But at least that cake never fails, so no worries there, and I can make it the day before...it's almost like a dense cheesecake without the cheese.
So anyhoodles, just wanted to chat about all that lovely food....
Hope you had a pretty darn good day today, Nat.....okay, confession time: I FELL in Disney on our second to last day!! Yep. I got off my scooter to do a little shopping, went into the store where there was no curb, but came out of the store where (surprise!) there was one. Splat!! I had a dr's appt set up anyway yesterday, so he sent me for an x-ray today on my left hand; my wrist is sore, I can't lift anything, buckle my seatbelt and my hand and arm looks like I was painting with blue and purple paint. Sigh.......I hope it's just a sprain, but he said if I fractured the bone he's hoping I didn't, it may be serious. Yay! More adventures!! Hahaha!!
Anyway, have a lovely evening, Nat, hope you get some quality sleep tonight.

oh no @Lynn49 you missed the curb! What an unfortunate spill, but luckily it was near the end of all your fun and hopefully your bruised hand/wrist will heal up fast. (( hugs ))
I came on here to catch up on the posts, but then I found THIS but you guys do not have to invest the entire time of the video to enjoy and marvel at this rabbit. Ain't he so chillaxed?!

Hello folks!
Well, this virus thing has got me scared to death -especially living in the facility that I do. I have decided after articles I have read and research I have done that I am pulling the plug on any un-needed social interaction. I'm joining your ranks @Lynn49 and @GoJays .
They have even cancelled our local Elmira Maple Syrup Festival -in its 56th year.
I will, of course, have to walk the dog but I won't be getting in an elevator if there is anyone in it.
Tom Hanks and his wife have both tested positive in Australia where they went for him to make a film.
There is a woman in our building who just got back from a cruise to Hawaii and then I heard that the doctor who has tested positive in Hamilton also just returned from a cruise to Hawaii-same timeline.
The issue is, that you can be infecting people long before you show any symptoms.
@Lynn49 - I can't believe you had another fall! I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm going to send you a bubble wrap suit! Gee, I hope you are not in too much pain!
I'm going to say goodnight, my friends.
Sleep well!

Welcome @avoncallingu ... come, come join us
@Lynn49 , I hope your wrist is ok. Don't feel bad about the curb.
I don't need one of those to trip.
I can just be walking down the hall and my foot will catch and away I go
