    @GoJays , two very poignant memes and particularly the first one, it's so true!

    It's so nice and quiet here without transient campers, no gaggles of kids racing around on their bikes at 8am, so it's easy to sleep in. Having coffee, breakfast then hopping into the shower to start the day!

    Good afternoon gang! It's here again, that welcomed day of the week...FRIDAY!!
    I spent ALL yesterday from say noon-ish till 3 a.m. binging Season One of Mindhunter!! ( 2017 Netflix series )
    Then this morning after a quick refuel of the vehicle and an emergency run to grab the pesto sauce and honey that I forgot to buy when I shopped Thursday.....I got through Season Two!

    What a fab series this was.
    I never once considered cooking anything in the toaster oven today.....mock me? I'll show you!

    Hello, rainy day here on the island. We're surprised how other people here are not respecting distances when chatting, even visiting with each other in their trailers! They know how our family feels, esp close neighbours here, so no invitations, hahaha! They're all well educated people, what dont they understand? Honestly, it's damn scary.....do they all feel invincible?!

    Anyhoodles, SIL will be heading home today, he starts work at his friend's cafe tomorrow, DD staying and working from here. We'll leave tomorrow, I hate travelling in the rain, too many idiots drive like it's a sunny day!

    So true, @Newfiescreech . Our Daughter was showing their friend's trailer earlier today with our campground owner. Now she said we can't hug nor can my Grandson and I! For 2 weeks! But it's so damn complicated! Her Hubby is working in their friend's cafe, so he'll be in contact with other kitchen staff...so do we all start over, no contact until he's done at the end of June for his holida here at camp?!?!
    I really hope those researchers at UofT really did find a cure!

    Threats and predictions of rain here all day but nothing showed up. Very hot, though so a breeze was welcome.

    So, more mulch news....sound exciting,?

    Besides being deadly to dogs that are uncontrollably attracted to it, the darned stuff caught fire!!

    When I was walking Tootie, I noticed some smoke near the Tim's parking lot.

    I rushed in - Tootie and all to ask if they had fire extinguishers. After a few minutes of being asked a few times what I wished to order, the manager came out with an extinguisher. It took a couple of efforts to put it all out.

    Then one of our Association members told me that he witnessed a fire in the mulch at a Toyota Dealership that took 2 buckets of water to put out!

    That stuff can smolder underneath and pop up in another place!

    Such an adventurous life I lead!

    I missed my chance to call in the hunky firemen, but I was afraid that the thing would really take off if we didn't catch it right away!

    It was probably started by someone flicking a cigarette butt in there.
