Some nice laughs here this morning, sure could use some. DH's back is totally F___ED! Praying that he'll able to heal enough to get back to work by early next week. It's always something isn't it?
I am now elected to rake the leaves out front....wondering if I can " delegate " that task to DS? I'll give it my best shot.

@walkonby hope your DH gets some relief and getting better soon
Both my DDS has allergies to the environment so asking then to cut the grass or rake the leaves will be out of the question. So I am the one who does it most of the time. Hoping your DS help you out

@Lynn49 - yep, the weight of the snow was too much. It's at the Ramada hotel.
Happy Tuesday! Well, not for those going out here.
Our son came after he was done work to shovel us out.
He drives a very old 4x4 truck with good snow tires, so had no problem driving through the city. Yesterday, anyone who drove a regular car or small suv were totally screwed - there were vehicles abandoned all over the city. Way too much snow, yet ice under that even if it was a plowed street.
Milan helped a lot of people, from giving a workmate a ride to and from work, then pushing and shovelling cars out. He has forbidden his dad to drive anywhere, and will come by Wednesday (Rem. Day is a day off here) to shovel more if needed, and bring us some grocery items. We did stock up on most things before the weekend, so we won't need much.
Yesterday was municipal elections in the province. Special permission was granted so in any location where snow was a problem, they could close and plan another election day.
Now, by ten in the morning, on the news and with a phone alert from our City, they said to stay home. However, the forks didn't make an announcement about delaying the voting until suppertime - so all these people went through such crap during the day to vote! Other locations made their announcement well before noon. So voting will continue Friday.
Hope you all have a Terrific Tuesday!
This is my niece's dog Bailey, in alley behind their home. She loves sticks.

G'day!
2 covid cases in our Grandson's school, 2 grade 12 students, apparently from a halloween party, although now that we're into about 50 cases since everyone visited on Thanksgiving weekend, who kows who those 2 infected and where they wandered around when they were still without symptoms. It's a cluster-f***.
Not much more to say, love your giggles, @GoJays, particularly that sky-diving one...our DD will relate, she jumped alone out of a perfectly good airplane years ago.
@Natalka, our late Tammy, our BC also loved sticks, loved having them tossed into the water, diving in to retrieve them. They were always a wee bit smaller than what your niece's beautiful dog is proudly carrying. Love the sweater, also, which reminds me that I have to sew a warmer sweater/fleece cover-up for Jenny; with their deep rib cage between their front paws, nothing much zips up or goes around that area nicely except sweaters and it'll be too cold for just a sweater soon enough.
Quick note: one of our Daughter's Siamese cats has taken to opening every drawer of their vanity in their bathroom and flipping everything out of them. She's also opened their night-table drawers and done the same.
Time for child-proof locks, I guess! Lol!!

good morning and ty @Lynn49 for the back pain relief suggestion. His back seems to have improved about 40%, which means he can speak now without grumbling ( kidding...... I DO understand what back pain does to us all ).
The way we all prevented him from doing anything physical contributed to his healing, because left to his own desires he would have tried to tackle some job inside or out.
Why is it when the doctor says " do nothing, just rest " he immediately makes a list of stuff he'd like to get done " while he's off ". Oh brother eh?
Not a whole lot going on around our way...I'm staying in for 2 days other than buying some gas tomorrow.
Get your Poppies on for Remembrance Day for the vets!!

Our numbers here have gone from 2-3 to 59 now because of some idiot kids who had a party when their parents were out!!
I'm assuming the numbers will go up since those idiots went home to their families, who may have passed that virus onto their parents in nursing homes....I hope they're ALL fined BIG TIME and it was in OUR area! So our self-imposed isolation continues...

Good afternoon!
Hi, everyone!
Not much going on, just moaning and groaning about all my owies...
After he is done work, our son will pick up a few groceries for us. We will order takeout tonight - will have to phone around to see what's open. Lots of places are not doing delivery because of snowed in residential areas, but we always pick up anyway.
Tablet is being persnickety, so I shall stop.
Hope you are all okay!
