yes I agree @avoncallingu , we also had to get our doggies out in between the drips!
My cooking is done for now, hoping I have made enough ( dinner wise ) to last us through till Sunday.
I feel there is a Caesar salad or some homemade coleslaw I might still be expected to do up though??

So windy here and I want to go out but also don't lol. The people next door make so much noise always banging around and opening/closing cupboards. So I'm like I gotta go but then I hear the wind whipping.

Sorting paperwork-SO much fun! Also calling people I owe calls to. Trouble is, many times they're not home and then we play telephone tag.

Doing laundry on cheap day.

My eyes are starting to bug from doing too much paper sorting and categorizing- truth be told, I haven't done my income tax yet. But it's coming along- when it doesn't give me a migraine to do it.

Avoiding a couple of ominous tasks but they don't go away by ignoring them, do they?

My nephew's choir sang a song from Wicked called "For Good." I have never seen the musical although I loved the book. I am thinking it has some very cogent sentiments for me to use at my DH's burial which is coming up at the end of the month.

Well. Another task to tackle.

Just making supper. Watched the Derby. An long trAdition here. So I have made it through the Super Bowl, March Madness, The Master's and now the Kentucky Derby. Every 1st is a twinge.


Next is anniversary-the long weekend and then his birthday and burial on Memorial Day. May is a rough one.

Hi everyone I was having issue with the site I could not post or do any thing just read everyone else post which was not bad but when I am at the desk top no problem everything works. I hate sitting at the desk. So far we've had lilP's bday(Jan), our wedding anniversary ( Feb 17 yrs), our first meeting (1st April 31 yrs)and P1's bday.

Yesterday was Mr P's bday(53), mine is Friday (also 53) and then it's mothers day..

I'm not a big fan of sports so I didn't have those to worry about.

Darth, I think of you and your family a lot! Hugs! Not a great club we belong to. I hope you can enjoy your birthday. That sun came out to celebrate your DH's! Very kind of her! I don't watch sports much any more either. It must be hard on the little p's too! My stepson just got back from the Netherlands to celebrate his birthday and search his roots.
Hope all that rain has finally left your area, and that you didn't have to deal with any flooding.
