Wishing all mothers a very happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Back from lunch with my aunt. We went to mike's because she wanted breakfast but I ordered off their full menu. I got their mike's mixes app platter. mozza sticks, chips, bruschetta rolls, deep fried shrimps. Was pretty good and they serve it really nice. She then gave me a tim hortons gift card for my birthday from her best friend and about 6 tim hortons gift cards from herself she had but hadn't used yet. We then went to the cemetery to stop for a moment to see where my mom and uncle were buried.

Just got back from camp; it was SO nice to be there again! I think my BP drops a gazillion points when I'm there!
@cabmonk , HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I wish you all the blessings your heart can hold throughout your next year! Your Aunt sounds like a lovely woman...is she your maternal or paternal Aunt? If that's none of my business, ignore me.

So sorry to hear that @Lynn49 . Yeah my aunt was married to my moms brother. My uncle used to always be the one to go to movies with me or lunch and dinner sometimes. After he died she started doing it. After my uncle died also his daughter (of course my cousin lol) will have a bag of goodies dropped off for me every few weeks. When my aunt asked her why she was doing this. She said well dad would do things like this for mike so I wanted to pick up where he left off when he died. Her husband is the one that works in Australia and when he swings through town to visit for a day, he's the one that brings the bag with him.
