Good day my friends! Just sitting here with the cat. Thinking of vegetating for the rest of the day as body hurting from what little I have already done. Got up early which seemed okay at the time, now not so sure.
Oh well, if that's my biggest problem then I'm doing alright all things considered. Not sure what the weekend holds. Will all depend upon my body. Whatever you find yourselves up to may you be blessed!

Good sunny morning!!

What a fun evening yesterday: dinner and theatre with the kids and I finally got to see ELF with no will farrell in it!! The guy playing "Buddy" also played one of the leads in "The Book of Mormon" on Broadway, but not when we saw it there. I can sure see him in that part!! The director of the theatre told me a little secret: one of the productions they'll announce for the new year includes Jersey Boys!!! We also saw that in NYC, but we're pretty convinced we'll get season tickets for the new season, it's such a nice evening out. Our GS's first live production and he very much enjoyed it, too! More to come!

Packing day today for our ...duh-duh-duh....matching Mother/Daughter tattoos in ThunderBay!! We fly out tomorrow for that and to visit our relatives there. Home Wednesday.

A beautiful day, the kids have a couple couples over for dinner this evening, and we'll have to figure something out or SkiptheDishes.

Well, I managed to get tickets to Hamilton again. Round 2, we will try again. I had them two years ago and three weeks before our performance, the world shut down with covid. Luckily, ticketholders whose performances were cancelled got first crack at seats. I don't think many seats were left after we were done with them, lol

YES!!!! THAT'S ME!!!! Plus I might even throw tomatoes at him. ugh!!
I have NEVER understood the appeal of that performer.

Good morning and welcome to another week of " it's not Christmas yet " . Soon though, sooner than most of us expect and prep for.
My best efforts have been front and centre in the decorating and gift buying/wrapping category, however these ever changing menus
are going to drive me bananas.
New recipes keep popping up and I modify each list as that occurs.

I have 3 events to host....lol. Calling them " events " pushes them up the ladder of importance I guess.
We have 2 with December b'days to celebrate, so that afternoon soiree will be on the 17th, a full meal is expected, plus cake.
Then on Christmas Eve it's just us 5, with an ongoing nosh starting around 5 p.m. board games running till midnight when we do our gift(s) exchange.
The next day company arrives beginning at noon!

That sit down meal will be traditional ( 9 at the table ) and oh Lordy! afterwords the desserts will be aplenty. I pray for room in my tum tum to taste a bit of everything.
Until December arrives on Thursday I should calm down a bit....oh geesh I have to remember to put my son's Reeses Advent Calendar out on Thursday.....lol
