Night time has arrived no matter how I tried to stop it. Hrmph! I did get a fair bit accomplished today but I really wanted to do more and night time just ruins the energy level.
I'm zapped. Hope everyone enjoyed their TGIF day! Grey Cup this weekend!!

Another beautiful sunny day, but the kids said they were buried in snow in the Sault! On their way home, but the roads are fine, thank heavens, nothing like southernmost Ontario! Wow!!

Morning gang.
We definitely got a little more than just a dusting of snow over the weekend...
the Weather man was way off...supposed to get around 4 cm...ended up with about 40 cm...go figure.

sorry that I " liked " your snow report @danger_dan when what I was trying to convey was better you than me! lol. ( Kidding ) I am concerned that you got that much of that evil stuff this early. Cannot allow my mind to wander as to what we'll eventually get. The wind is crazy out there!
Close call today, I'm parked in line at the car wash, a single person popped in there just a hair ahead of me....argh. As I am waiting at the post ( the one you need to punch in wash codes for ) I decided that I was a bit too far away from it, so as I was reversing the high winds moved the HUGE waste receptacle directly in front of where I was JUST sitting!
I put the vehicle in park, went to get out to move the damn thing and good god darned thing I had a good grip on the door because it was nearly ripped off ( that wind again! ).

The waste bin was full, quite heavy even to try and slide it and I'm still not supposed to lift, exert for another 2 weeks, but I did it very slowly, carefully, inch by inch and slid it behind an area not that far actually, where it cannot blow away from. I should have gotten a discount on my car wash for that. lol

Then over to the LCBO on a mission for DH. He heard a question on Jeopardy and all of a sudden he needs to try this Cava sparkling wine. Similar to Prosecco they say.
DH detests dry wine, this kind comes Brut, which means dry apparently. I searched online first , then asked in the store....no luck so I did the next best thing!
Bought a boxed bottle that comes with 2 flutes! The sugar number is 10....I thought must be sweetish??.....nope, not really but we'll get it down one way or another.
Maybe we'll splash OJ into it, that can be a mimosa! I'll drink to that.

Good morning!!

A dull day, Jenny got her nails filed today, DH is running a couple of errands, and I'm not doing much of anything at all.
My eyes are a mess...well, healed, I think although drops will continue for another month, I bet, but I need "cheaters" to read, then no glasses at all to watch tv, so watching tv while reading my ipad is annoying, then there's the inevitable headache I'm going to have again this afternoon because of all the eyestrain. My surgeon's follow-up is another week away, then off to the optometrist for new lenses which if the last time was ahy example, could take a month!

@danger_dan, that's FESTIVE snow you got dumped on you!! Only 34 days until Christmas!!!

I'm getting nervous about the flight and the tattoo with my DH, but I'm sure it'll all be fine. Later.
