Good morning. It's raining ash from the Okanagan fires and we're over 400km away. The air quality is a 10 and it's bad but not as bad as it is up there. It's heart breaking

hi ladies, yes those silly bags at the grocery stores that refuse to open! I get a kick out of watching each shoppers' method for trying to open them.
While one person rubs the edges together like they're trying to start a fire with 2 sticks, others lick a finger ( hopefully it's their own! ) but normal
shoppers like me gently tap any piece of freshly sprayed ( with water ) produce.
Finger is wet, bag opens! Voila!

It's Monday again, and who likes that? My nasty cold, which was very flu like, has done damage to my psyche since it arrived Wednesday night.
I'm not impressed. Summer colds are as aggravating as having a full bag of wet produce bust all over the walkway! Dare I say ( shhhh, in a whisper )
the worst has passed. I still sound awful, but am actually feeling rather o.k.-ish.
Time to get back to doing the bike, treadmill and my mat work. Oh joy! Have a great week all.

I hate those plastic bags but my solution is to let my wife open them!...and if she's not there well I'm like that guy.But now that I know to spit on the bag I will try it.
Or was that just moisten the bag.... @danger_dan you're popping in later these days...are you on a new schedule with your little one?...enjoy those times as they grow so fast at the start.
Not much happening here, just enjoying these last few days with DS before he begins his trip back to Oz.

I used to lick my finger to moisten before opening plastic bags. However, I realized that other folks had to touch the bag and that my hands were not always clean, while shopping. Also, I met an RCSS clerk re-stocking the magazine stand, while wearing rubber gloves. I asked her why she did so and was told that it was because of folks licking their fingers to turn the magazine pages. That was the last day I ever considered buying magazines from the stand!

Another RCSS clerk suggested that I just put the plastic bag between my palms and rub them, like one does when trying to warm up their hands.

...The New Boss (pronounced ba·by /ˈbābē/) is still figuring out the schedule for the days...he's all over the place right now...so I'm working wonky hours.

mornin everyone! Giggling mildly at new @danger_dan " bābē " ruling the roost, flexing his infant muscles. This too shall pass Mom and Dad.
Lovely weather here atm, might actually entice me to sit out back for my Vitamin D today. Enjoy the rays if you have them!
