Good morning for a second time today. We were woken up at 2am when Dh smelled smoke and heard a barrage of fire trucks. We’ve had that happen before but it was a complex a couple of blocks away from us and it smelled like chemicals but this was a “campfire” smell.

We have a small park across from us so we thought it might be there but thankfully it wasn’t but we could see the smoky haze around the streets lights. Sirens went on FOREVER but have yet to see or read anything online about it.

Today is just going to be a super slow and lazy day. Lazy except for cleaning and laundry . Then again I’m the weirdo that finds joy and relaxation in cleaning .

Hump Day has arrived, get your sleds out and coast on down towards the end of the work week! Poor DH had tried in vain to get one of his future week's vacation switched over to this week since his back is out. The Universe was not on his side, could not be granted. Slugging when you can hardly bend or move is not the kind of challenge he needs.

Hump day alright!..this weather is only fit for a camel!...No way can I go out when it's like this so I will try and suck up the pain instead.Sorry @walkonby that DH is
going through a painful time and has to work.Prayer offered on his behalf!
Keeping busy doing stuff inside to make way for my new furnace which comes on Fryday just in time for winter....stuff takes more time to deal with than I thought which is probably why I let it ride for so long.
Seeing I'm coming back to life after lunch it's back to work.
Keep hydrated and cool my friends...physically cool as I already know everyone else is the other cool!
