Good morning, watched your food- video, @walkonby , and two things for me: I want the glassware she’s using, and can I speed her up?! Lol! Patience is not my thing, but I watched it right through just for you and it does look simple enough….good luck with it! We’ll need pictorial proof of your efforts, though…😌

@flemeth these ones are very worth the effort. Just a note: I weighed the sifted flour rather than using a cup measurement. The dough was beautiful to work with after that 1 hour rise.
I still cannot get over how cooking these in a bone dry ( no oil? ) cast iron pan works....but it does.

@walkonby those flat bread looks yummy and i like that they do not have eggs as I'm always on the look out for eggless recipes to make for my FIL. I'm going to give them a try and will add green onion to make them similar to green onion cake.

Ladies, I could only eat 1/2 of one of the flatbread with some tzatziki sauce and the pork kebab meat inside. I could barely make it through the meal once a spoon of coleslaw, 1/2 a charred bell pepper, bit of tomato and a wedge of grilled pineapple were added to my plate. Thanks for the comments and I know none of you will be disappointed in the quality of these.
DH and I decide to nix on making a batch of a new version of fruity daiquiri's....it would have been too much.

Beautiful, @walkonby !! Bet they tasted amazing fresh out of the pan!
I tried to post food-p0rn, lol, but I guess it was blocked. That video surely fit the description! But those cute little tumblers!! Or measuring cups? So sweet.

good morning peeps! Hoping all of you benefited from the 2 day reprieve from work. We had necessary naps yesterday after that late lunch/early dinner.
It walloped both DH and I right out. Must be the nasty carbs that sent us into dreamland.
No cooking required from me today. Guys made up 2 " interesting " salads to take for their work meals today. All in ONE bowl is Romaine/coleslaw/cut up hard boiled egg/pieces of Lillydale oven roasted chicken/tomatoes/baby cucumbers and two dressings ( Coleslaw and Caesar ).
Now that's a salad! lol

I don't see the problem with retracing our steps, I do it all the time when I cannot remember where I laid an item down, or what I walked into a room for. Leave the dog alone internet!!
