@GoJays - also because I got to spend all that time with my husband! He kept me perky by picking on me, making me giggle and laugh while annoying me through all the waiting time. Gosh, I miss our time together!

Had some great live music on the ward today. My roomie's husband plays accordion, she plays bass guitar, and someone else plays with them in a little band. Well my roomie isn't able to now, but her husband 84 brought along a friend 91 who played fiddle and the two of them played for almost an hour. It was Fab!

Got a new small skin owie on my leg, again. I swear it's spontaneous! At least the others healed well.

I shouldn't still be awake at this hour but....my " nap " was glorious and lasted from 4:30- 7 p.m., well o.k. not a nap, more of a sleep. Then I enjoyed and screamed at the fabulous LEAFS!! Tavares scoring 5 goals!! woo hoo! Even better was the way Boston blew their lead losing the game to those amazing TB Lightning!! ( yeah @avoncallingu , I must give credit where credit is due! )

In the last few minutes of the 3rd Brad Marchand took a totally stupid penalty when his team actually had a chance to tie it....and he had a bit of a tantrum where he didn't wanna go into the penalty box....temper, temper Brad!!
Leafs will have to face them ( sadly ) in the play offs. Lets hope he takes those types of penalties with us!!

Since I was up anyways I crumb coated a few chicken thighs to bake for the guys, they should be cooked soon, ( the thighs NOT the guys! ) the smell is so awesome in here right now.
Sweet dreams to any who have just drifted off. Garbage Tuesday is already here!

@walkonby, you know how I feel about hockey, but whenever I hear Tavares' name, I immediately think about that commercial that he did for the mattress, sleeping in the hockey area. Makes me chuckle everytime it comes on.

Good sunny morning, folks! I love the photo evidence pic! HAIR CUT DAY! I missed my appointment in January, as I was ill. I missed my appointment in February due to the ice storm. I missed my appointment in March because of the move.....I look like Rapunzel -trapped without her brush!

So today I am trying a new hairdresser-always a risky business. But the people here in the building won't recognize me!

Poor Tootie can't be groomed for another week or so. She looks like a well used Swifter Duster. She's happy to be able to venture further than just the front boulevard though-lots of new sniffs.

Glad to hear the Bolts could be of service, @walkonby . 😆

We have had a confirmed case of measles here in the region. Not a good sign. Well,I won't get into the vaccinate- don't vaccinate contraversy.

Time to get this little muffin out for a walk - Tootie, too 😉

Good morn!

Just finished a decent walk, and am I icing my foot (dark chocolate, lol! That came to mind...)

My hamstrings are my current enemy, from the wheelchair sitting. Hurt badly during the night, and today, too. Am keeping up with exercises anyway, I will just try to do hamstring stretches more often with fewer reps.

Milan is coming for a visit this evening, so yay!
