@GoJays the ways you tax my grey matter with your puzzling memes! I finally got the stone one.
Also poor Dinosaurs. @danger_dan it was good of you to get the prettier side of that camels face! bwahahaha!!!
So....nothing going on here still. I've been up since 6 a.m. Can't watch CNN , too upsetting atm.
( someone tell me exactly HOW Jussie Smollett walked away with charges dropped, record expunged and records sealed?
It's almost as if he had money, fame or influence to beat this?
I have tried twice this morning to finish my most recent library book....made some headway but not enough. I may just pay the overdue fee if it comes to that, apologies to whoever is on the waiting/hold list for this book.
Sure looks gorgeous out there ( the trickery of the sun ) but the temps are still cold, so I'll not bother with an outing until tomorrow.
This is for you Jays!! ha ha

A belated good morning to all. Something strangely upsetting is happening. A bird keeps hitting my kitchen window, over and over again. I went outside to scare it off twice and I released a dog for the same purpose. But it keeps coming back, thumping the glass as if it wants IN. I think it sees the sky or some trees reflected by the glass...but the darned thing won't stop battering itself. Emotionally difficult to be in the kitchen, taking care of the needs of the day, while the poor little thing is killing itself a few feet away.

Hi, again!!
@walkonby , I felt the same way about that fossil, but thought...what if it was a dragon?!! ....
@wendymac , if you have any black construction paper and can cut out an image of a flying owl or some such, and stick it on the window it may be less inclined to attack that window. I'm thinking it may be staking its claim to a nearby tree, or looking for a mate and is a little confused...poor wee thing. That would make me so sad, too.....
Well, first WW meeting and weigh-in today! Then a mountain of groceries, then DH is off to pick up a new battery for the remote-controlled golf kaddy he just bought. New toys!
At least it's sunny out there, +5, so downright balmy!

Wouldn't blame you one bit! it's never happened to me, although I've had a vehicle waiting for my space while blocking my way out!

oh guys! I am tear stained with laughter after enjoying a Showcase special called Women Of A Certain Age ! Hosted by Fran Drescher....many of the female comedians ( I am so ashamed to admit ) I had NEVER heard of before. I knew Fran from The Nanny ( which I howled at each week ) THAT voice!!! You either love it or hate it.
Anyhow hands down I felt THE best gal on stage Lynne Koplitz. If I ever have the chance to see her live I'll do it.
This tv special is the kind of thing you could have on at a Girls Night In, with plenty of wine flowing!

@wendymac - I know that is tough to see happen. In our former house we had a huge picture window across the street from a mountain ash tree. The birds would get drunk on the berries, then careen into our window. It did help to tape pages of white paper along the bottom of the window.
Will have to come back to finish - it has taken me 10 mins to type this, gah! Stoopid tablet sometimes
