1. Winter is COMING!!!
2. it's only 9 seconds long, even the most distracted sc member could watch it all
3. It's a chipping sparrow! ( Frankie Feathers' breed )

🤣….love your sass, @GoJays! You be YOU!💕
Speaking of starting the day, I hope I’m not the only one addicted to videos of baby French bulldogs!
I don’t think I want to own a yapping dog, but as pups, OMGOSH they’re the cutest things!
well, our first morning waking up to frosty roofs. And so it starts.
I want to take in two English ivy planys that have grown to about a metre long….I hope they survive me because it’s me or the planter they’re in outside for the winter….has anyone done this? @GoJays?
ok, carry on, enjoy your day…at least the sun’s out today!Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, Sep 19th, 2023 at 08:53 AM.

@walkonby the weather here is getting cooler too and the morning coffee somehow tastes better in the cool crisp morning air.
@Lynn49 whenever we visit my in-laws in the states, before they got internet, there was only cable tv so I watched A LOT of the dodo on their tv and there was nothing else to do in a very small town.

the dodo videos I watch on YouTube have some of the most heartwarming stories of serious animal rescues on it. @Lynn49 that baby French Bulldog takes the cake! What a complainer! When the pups grow up their voices change to this...bwahahaha!!

Seeing today’s theme is animals and how they need to be just themselves to make a great video.
I have no video to share as I have enough trouble at times just posting words and I could very well be that 9 second attention span person. I do though have a cat on my lap which you will need to picture with your own imagination.Said cat was ready for attention at 2:00am!
Managed to finish filling up a lawn bag only to discover my body doesn’t like bending over very much so today.Fortunately dinner is cooked for the most part.
Whatever you’re up to today I hope that the sun is shining in your direction.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

I used to haul an ivy plant in and out @Lynn49 but finally gave up on it. After the first summer outside, it didn't grow again for me. For me ivies are just meh plants. I don't love them. They're so readily available and inexpensive that if I feel that I need another one (spoiler alert, I won't) I can just buy another one. Also, they're very prone to spider mites. You have to keep your eyes on it constantly to make sure it doesn't get infested

mornin @GoJays !! I was touched deeply by this video of sisters doing the kind of stuff only sisters do. Each one of them is cuter than the other!!
https://www.cnn.com/videos/entertain...=1695206548774
Time to go fill the gas tank again but luckily there was an EIGHT CENT drop per litre at midnight !! Meh?? still around $1.62 a Litre here in Scarborough.
However if I go to Petro Can instead of Shell I will save a further 13 cents off per Litre!! ( 10 cent Fuel Savings card + linked RBC Visa )
Since my Shell 150 bonus AM were already earned for September ( 5 x 30L fill ups ) I'm definitely lining up at Petro Can.
How exciting does my day sound now?

@walkonby ...your day sounds fabulous compared to some of mine. DS just had a small fire in his restaurant kitchen that we ended up helping him clean up as his insurance company and the building's insurance company were *#%&ing around focusing the cost of cleanup on each other while time was going by (almost 3 weeks) for something that could have been repaired in 1-2 days. All is well now though. I have forgotten how tiring labour intensive work can be!

Shout out to @GoJays for continuing yesterday's animal theme today...Yeah I believe those cute little bandits are animals rather than vermin but not happy when they get into my garbage!
