I’m watching a documentary, Museum Secrets and I’m missing Rome so much!!!
Wed go back if I wasn’t so afraid to fly now!! If it wasn’t for the kids here, I’d never have left.

Another balmy day, +4 again…not THIS is my idea of winter in February!!
It’s so nasty in the eastern provinces, though…heading into the same for the prairies, but I think it may be welcome there because of the farms, crops?
And I’m sure you southerners are spoiled with no snow whatsoever? What a country!

Whatever day you’re having weather-wise, I hope it’s a good one for you!

good afternoon. No idea how the F**k I managed to drive myself to the Clinic for my 8 a.m. follow-up appt. Knee replacement is ages away, even though I need one right now!
The x-rays confirmed the serious deterioration. Atm I'm on the first wait list JUST to get in to speak with the orthopedic specialist. Hold my beer........there's no guarantee I won't crack up before then.

@Lynn49 us southerners spoiled?....never..we're with you at 4 this dinner hour! However when compared to the east coast the lot of us are doing well!
I'm sorry to hear about your latest episode @walkonby and the pain that you're dealing with.I will offer a prayer on your behalf.In the meantime perhaps Frankie Feathers will boost your spirits.
Many of us seem to be in a pain predicament of one kind or another.Too bad there are so many varieties and often it's more than just one thing that hurts.
Good thing we have one another to help us and encourage us along the way! We'll get through this my friends (as he grits teeth)

T.G.I.F. and wowza! Is it the sunshine and better temps, or the 2 strong pain pills I took? Whatever caused my body to celebrate today with improved movement and actual
unassisted walking I embraced it fully! Did a few small chores just because I could! Made myself a fried egg sammy , snickering because I could stand at the stove and do that too!
I mean there is no double rainbow BUT I feel way better!! Thanks again for the kind words during my dark side posts.

Yah. Superbowl Sunday. The day I used to look forward to almost as much as Christmas, with the parties we always hosted.
This year? No horse in this race, don't care who wins which usually makes it easier to watch, but it's overshadowed by some celebrity or other instead of being a serious game day. So phhhht.
We do have my late BFF's Hubby over for dinner and that game, but I may sort-of watch as I knit. Hmph.

He will see a difference in our Jenny, though, now that she's been diagnosed with alziemers, arthritis and low vision, poor muffin.

Well, enjoy the day however you may be spending it.

A performance day at Cambrian College for the 1st year nursing students who are studying geriatric care this year….sigh….thats me, I guess…geriatric. I’m acting now, so a bit jittery as opposed to my wheelhouse, just being the moderator.

The sun’s shining, so that makes even the -3 tolerable.
