So true!
An update - I was able to resolve the problem by repeating the process for reprogramming - not sure if it was for reprogramming the tv or the remote or pvr. Whatever, it worked. Couldn't remember the steps so had to search through the notes I took. Too bad the last technician would not take the time to repeat the process with me when I asked, insisting there was nothing that could be done. The process took less than 30 seconds and then another 15 seconds to check if it worked. A pox on you, technical support!Have a great life!

By some fluke I manage to be the first poster for holiday Monday! (However this may change prior to me pressing enter) Happy whatever day it may be called in your province.Dunno why I'm so excited about it as everyday is a holiday for me..oh yeah DW is off-bonus!
I've been around here reading but not posting for awhile dunno why...too many other balls to juggle at the same time?
Life is good actually great compared to many other places on this planet.Thankful to be where I am with few worries. The sun is trying to creep through the clouds which is encouraging. Not too much traffic out there today so great for walking. My cat has a great idea..sleep! maybe I will try that later or not.
Whatever you're up to today stay safe and well my friends and have a great week ahead!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Nice to see an early bird posting on Family Day @Skippy ! We're the same, everyday is a holiday. Too bad that DH and DS...their work lays them off for 1 day with no pay??
Happy Family Day?? Whatever.
Enough of that whining, I made a batch of large crepes! ( they're still warm ) Strawberries, raspberries and fresh peaches are all sliced up and sitting in a small bit of sugar in the fridge and will magically turn into a yummy fruit compote! Whipped cream ( canned ) is also at the ready! Wake up guys! it's already noon.

Good morning!! errr...afternoon!!!
Slept in until 9 this morning, and as you said, @Skippy, every day is Saturday anyway, so no different today for us.
@GoJays, omgosh, that rhododendron!! Can you imagine something like that surviving around our neck of the woods?! I've kept a cactus alive for over 2 years, so proud of that, anyway, lol. I do love plants, but it's survival of the fittest around here and that's all that's left of the couple I've had over the years. I did grow a huge somethingorother years ago, sold it for $45 to a nice elderly man who arrived with a truck and his son, lol...yes, Hubby was home at the time, but this was the olden days, so less fear in the world about who'd arrive at our doors.
I just want Spring to arrive. Not the calendar Spring, the REAL spring which arrives about a month later than all you spoiled punks south of us, and of course, there's no talking to the far west coast about spring...it's likely there already. And we're expecting snow.
The weather has been spring-like this month, which, for February is unheard of, but believe me, no one's complaining! DH insists that not a flake shall be left on our driveway through the winter, so this'll keep him busy if the snow that's predicted, arrives. Yes, he keeps our driveway black all winter.
Not much going on...DD's b'day dinner next month so of course I've already got most of the menu planned for 8. Her GF is coming down from the Sault to celebrate with us as well as visit her DD at Laurentian, so she, her DD and her DD's boyfriend will be here for dinner, also.
Lots to plan, the tablescape, the dinner, dessert...which is never a problem, our DD always insists on her flourless chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry coulis, topped with fresh raspberries. Just once I'd like to make and frost, decorate a 2-layer cake, but nope....it's always that one. Silly Muffin. It's like eating a melting brownie or straight ganache. Not my favourite, but it's her birthday, so it'll be her cake.
Hope you're all enjoying a restful Family Day!!!Last edited by Lynn49; Mon, Feb 20th, 2023 at 02:41 PM.

who knew deep purple was @GoJays favourite colour? lol. Morning everyone who is up and at 'em. I am done all my woman's work, sort of, kind of.
What I did was place all the jobs that I thought were women's work and added them to DH's list. Smart!
