@danger_dan thank you for the heads up on Samplesource. I would appear to be in the minority as I use to belong but left.
In other news I have noticed that you're an early bird lately..maybe another sign of this actually being Spring?..always good to see you and others! @GoJays rant on as people are idiots while cat's aren't(just ask my wife-jk) or any forum is a good forum to rant on if one put's their mind to it!
Spring so far is good, no more of that white stuff,except what little is on the ground, and the geese are honking their way north as well as Killdeer which apparently was that sound I acknowledged to DW last pm.(The bird not hunter!)I'm on a roll as recently caffeinated and still early in the morning.
Gotta go as being beckoned,keep on doing/moving/grooving!

^^^ hee hee, good chuckles from the Kanga, or is your avatar a Roo? ( @Skippy ) . Today IS good, any day I check the gas gauge and see I don't have to pump gas is a plus!
Just went over the flyers, not much we need, just the fresh produce top ups. Have I ranted about Instacart yet? Allow me some space. Got a $200.00 GC from DS. Never used this service before. Bottom line? NOT impressed with the " extra " fees AND that they force you to add a CC to your account even though I had $200.00 GC credit.
I have had 2 deliveries, they ARE fast I will give them that, however now I have about $16.00 remaining of my GC. Today I see they charged my CC $2.00 !! What for??
So I now removed the CC from the account and will just let that $16.00 fade into oblivion as there is no way to make an order that small and NOT get gouged with delivery and service fees ...oh and TIP! They actually guilt you into leaving one.

Sorry. I'm much better now.....ty. Happy Hump Day all!

No invite again. The last time we could log on and order I 'got' maybe, 15 samples and never received the box. Then getting the survey I immediately deleted since I can't rate what I didn't get. So, here I am still salty. Irritating when I always did what was asked of me. I am now going to order myself some of the Acuvue contacts with transitions that darken like sunglasses when it's bright. Hopefully I don't terrify anyone going green to black. I hope folks that got an invite get some good samples.

@Skippy, I also opted out of those sample offerings; it was mostly stuff we never use anyway, too much time for nothing, really.

@GoJays, loved the giggles this morning, but I didn’t understand the “car” meme. Rant away, we’re all friends here, mostly, lol!

@walkonby, don’t those forced charges put a twist in your knickers?! DH went to Subway a few weeks ago and there was a suggested TIP amount that popped up! For assembling a sandwich?! It’s getting ridiculous!

A performance for our group this morning, then back home to do more prep-work before our dinner party on Saturday.

+5 today, so I’ll happily watch more snow die!!

good morning gals! A delightful update on the whole Instacart ripoff. I spoke with a REAL person this morning and expressed my displeasure with the whole system, but then I also explained that there was no way I could use up the balance of the GC because there was only $18.00 left on it and since their policy is a minimum $10.00 grocery order for delivery, add in the $7.99 delivery, the $4.00 service fee ( ?? ) and tax ( if any ) ....that means I would still have to pay OOP.

Long story resolved! She credited me back both the delivery and service fees from my last order! Now I had $27.00 to " spend. My order total came to $26.40 and once it gets delivered I am closing this stupid account down. Heads up people, Instacart is ridiculous. ( imho )
