But you aren't? So very sad to hear that - keeping you in my prayers, with positive thoughts.

So I got some health answers - just a warning to skip this post if ya don't want to know...

Apparently I'm in a strep cesspool.
Last week I got sores on my lower legs (similar to what I had last year), but they got out of control and got very bad.

Shortly after, I had to deal with the worst thing I have ever had to - shortness of breath - man, I will never take breathing for granted again.
I delayed going to the doc because I felt so awful, was in such pain, and would get out of breath literally taking five steps in the house, so I just couldn't imagine making it to the doc. At that point, I was dreaming about docs who do housecalls....

So my lower legs have strep - and I have strep pneumonia. Also, I have impetigo on my abdomen and back.

The doc hopes the SOB is from the infection and once the meds start working, that will get better.
Just to double check, I had an ECG done - and something showed up on there which is probably not related to my condition now, but will be something I need to follow up on. It's something I could have had for 20 years, or just developed.

So I'm in a fair bit of pain from my legs (comes like lightning), which ibuprofen and Tylenol don't all cover. I am weak and feel yucky all the time, which is gross. I haven't eaten a real meal for three days - I AM trying, but nothing appeals or will stay down - yet I know I need to, to heal and get strength. Sleeping is elusive, because of the pain, and not being able to breathe very well.

Well, that all sucks, doesn't it? And you know one really odd thing, I usually cry when I'm sick - but I don't even have the strength to do that.

Oh my @Natalka , I'm so sorry you're going through all that. The pain, the fear of catching your next breath, etc. All I can say is that I pray the meds you're on, and the doctors that are looking after you, do their jobs well.
Praying you see / feel some improvement, and soon.

My dear heart, how awful for you!!! Thank goodness you found the strength to go to your doctor and at least get diagnoses that can now be dealt with properly. You must be exhausted, or should I say your body must be exhausted having to work at healing you. I can identify with the appetite thing, though, because when I came out of the hospital after my leg break I could barely eat anything at all. I think I lived on cream of mushroom soup for a week.

I hope you continue to try to get some good stuff into you, fruits, lots of fluids of course just rest and get well.

You've had nothing but bad luck for months now. The law of averages says that it should turn around.
I sure hope it does so, and soon.

Oh my goodness, Natalka, this is awful. Lots of prayers and good wishes coming your way. Shouldn't you be in hospital? On IV fluids? So sorry for your situation!!!
Hicks, keeping you in my prayers too! Glad to here the good news about Jake and your sister.

Remember-this illness thing is not a "Tag-You're-It" Game. Actually, it would be okay, if none of us was unwell! My prayers will be for all of us!
