I heard the other day that some famous show was headed to Sudbury for filming. But I can't remember which one.

They were filming Designated Survived in Cambridge last week and this. Changing Canadian flags to British. One of the buildings is supposed to be the British Embassy in Washington.

BrotherR and I have been doing some packing as the get-together that I thought was tonight is not until tomorrow.

Poor Tootie had her pre-surgery blood draw today and another procedure which no one enjoys.

Poor little Tootles! I got her flea and tick medications. Ca-ching. I think I will start marketing her as "The cutest doggie in the world!"

@cabmonk , I just bet it could be Timmins also!! We got a little flurry, but it was gone before it hit the ground, at +2, that white crap died right away! Hah! Pthwey!!
@avoncallingu , they just finished filming a movie here on our main street right across from our DD's office window...they made it look like winter and gave "her" lunch place, "Oscars" another name! So weird, she said... I'll have to watch out for the next one; seems companies like filming here, it happens quite often, I think.

Well, WAY past my bedtime!! Avon, give sweet little Toots a big squeeeeze for me, she really is a sweetheart. Jenny also got her summer shot and meds and ... ahem ... that other thing done, which wasn't necessary as it turns out, so that's good news. The yucky news is that she'll need her teeth cleaned next year: $2000! How's that for cha-ching! haha!!

Thanks, Lynn. I guess Jenny and Tootie are cosmically connected-both getting shots and a-hem at the same time. It has been raining for most of the day so messy, messy walks.

I have heard that my mother-in-law has been diagnosed with shingles on her face and ear. It was not taken seriously at her nursing home until a new shift of nursing staff came on after 3 days.

She has spent a few days in the hospital.

Well, cleaning helper comes early tomorrow. Have to hit the sack.

This is day 4 ( I think ?? ) of whatever I have caught and I am not in the best of moods. My throat is scratchy, my eyes are teary, I have a weakness ( body aches ) , my headache comes and goes throughout the day and I feel like tossing my cookies every few hours.
The worst is having no appetite, the thought of food makes me gag slightly.

o.k. I've checked in here for today.....ha ha ha
I am so trying to be positive and just wait for whatever this is to pass but it is really cramping my style!!

Oh, Walks- I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well.

That old BRAT diet gets boring but it keeps some nutrition in the system without annoying it too much. Remember Doctors will be hard to access after tomorrow for a few days. Hope the bunny brings you a nice box of gravol to ease your stomach.

What a fantastic mini-concert yesterday! Majestic pipe organ and trumpets. Beautiful sounds in a wonderful setting!

I am enjoying the calm before the "cleaning storm" begins.

Tootie is "stretched out like a lettuce " as my father used to say. (I really don't know where that expression came from.) BrotherR is snoring in his bedroom. People are rushing off to wherever outside.

How did it get to be Wednesday again?
