Good morning early birds

It was the usual Friday morning drive into work today, easy going just flying along.
Glad the weekend is finally here...we shall see about those reported double digit days this weekend...I'd love to get our patio furniture out on the deck. That'll be a great photo for one of those vintage memes...it'll look just like this:

yes.... @danger_dan ....we shall see just what kind of temps we actually get compared to what they promise us. Our snow is pretty much gone, dog walking is good again.
Feeling a bit bummed over our Jays and Leafs losses, but we shall pick ourselves up and get back to it on Saturday with the Leafs.
DS is planning on doing up a massive lasagna sometime over the w/e He made a few inquiries about meat/sauce/cheese/ noodle ratios but I told him I play all of that by ear....or rather I eyeball things. He seems to have embraced the idea of making up a batch of something and freezing the portions for work. I support that!!
Just yesterday he thawed and cooked up some of the burgers that they made 2 weeks ago. It was a joint effort, his Dad had mixed the meat up with stuff they like in it and DS formed them in to patties.

Yes, Dan, there seems to be less traffic noise outside today. Pretty soon the bulk of the students will be gone. Flemeth- will your daughter be heading home for the summer? I bet you can't wait!
I may have mentioned my mother's cousin who was in ICU and not expected to live- they offered him a new procedure to clear his lungs- not knowing if it would help. Well it, and prayers, and determination has pulled him through! He is home and planning things for the summer! An exhausting but miraculous journey!
Must check out the day.

Very sunny here, also, supposed to head up to 8 (yah, no + sign needed anymore...I hope!), more melting of that horrid white crap underway!
@GoJays , we've had that wine, love the name, also, but I thought I'd send along one my DH's (and SIL's) favourite red wines...Terra Vega Carmenere, a Chilean wine. Not expensive, a nice sipping wine.

Let me know how you find it if you try it...I mean...you're out of wine anyway, right?
And it's the weekend!! Yay!

Not up to much today, GS will be spending 2 evenings with us, DD and SIL are visiting friends over the weekend (with former TD colleagues, a get-together). I made up some orange-yogurt creamsicle icicles, some jello icicles, so he can have a treat now and then that doesn't involve those icky sugary, chemical ones from the stores (even the fruit ones I mistrust).

So!! On to the weekend!!! Have a wonderful one, everyone!!

OH, dear!!There sure are some fancy names out there! "Fat B******" was, I think, the first one I ever spotted with an 'original' name. Seems there's one for every occasion, haha!

ooo, booze - y'all know I'm not normally a drinker, but now that I can't at all, funny how I want me some!
Husband had gotten some special brandy for his birthday, and I just stuck my finger in it to taste.
But there's almost a full bottle of my fave vodka from Ukraine in the house... and it's just sitting there!

This morning my new PT dropped by to drop off a form, to apply to a foundation for funding for a walker - like the one they have had me trying out. The care coordinator called and she'll be dropping off applications for housing - much more accessible places, no stairs.

Hope you all have a lovely aft - I hope to catch a snooze, because my night sucked.

Good night everyone @ avoncallingu yes my DD will be coming home on Monday or a Tuesday for the summer. I am looking forward for he to be back at home. She has some things she need to do and then both DDs will be going on a road trip .i am glad that your mother cousin is doing better.

After a slow and bad start I finally made 3 decents trades for coupons I wanted on my 3 french fb couponning groups

4 cheeses coupons 5$ agropur,becel coupons,colgate palmolive coupons and 4 x 2$ st-hubert peelies good on frozen products I wanted
