It sure is quiet here, just lots of chirpy birds. No rain overnight so I'm just hoping it holds off for our drive home
. @avoncallingu, perhaps something like our leather bench in lieu of a coffee table...it provides lots of extra storage, too.
As for that tv program...hahaha, ohhhhhhh suuuure, you know exactly how much I would have enjoyed that!

Now...do I get up and make myself a coffee and watch the morning news, or try to fall asleep again.............coffee wins!

the showers here were going all last night and bled into today as well. For the moment the drip, drip, drip has stopped but everything is so soaked out back....bummer.
So very sad to watch yet another attack in London last night. At least the 3 attackers were shot and killed. Watching people running carrying their kids just broke my heart. Prayers for all the concert-goers that will be going to Manchester tonight.

Partly cloudy now here but no rain. Put my m&m foods chicken lasagna in the oven. Yeah my whole freezer is filled with m&m foods ummm foods lol. Just waiting for a friend to stop by when he finishes work. I'm giving him a brand new bluetooth speaker because I was sent 2 of them.

They sent me a second one because aux input didn't work on the first one. I don't need the aux input as I use the bluetooth so I thought I would give the new one away. Watch in a couple weeks mine will completely stop working lol.

Had a fun time at the baby birthday party. Lots of neat gifts. This baby's grandma and grandpa were best friends with my dh and their son (The baby's dad) grew up playing with my dh's kids. Our grand-daughter is called Kacey and will soon be 2. This little girl is called Casey and this was her first birthday.

The weather was lovely all afternoon. I stopped by Loblaws on the way home to pick up a prescription and some groceries. While I was inside THE HEAVENS OPENED!

I got TOTALLY SOAKED TO THE SKIN! Just going from the door to where I had parked - very close.

Lightning and thunder!!!! Couldn't take poor Sadie out until it stopped and after I had completely changed.

I sorted through one whole side of the cd tower tonight. What I am keeping and what I will take to a used cd store to sell.

Now to the other side which is much fuller. Yoiks!

My head feels better today, thank heavens.
