I don't feel like going to camp today. IF we go it'll be later and hoping the truck cover thingy that DD ordered for her DH comes in so that we can pick it up for his b'day on Saturday.
And hoping Saturday is nice there since it's the big pancake breakfast and the Laurentian prof's lessons wrt the flora and fauna (mostly fauna) in the area which our GS sits through for over an hour which I'll probably have to attend since everyone else is going golfing!!! I'm NOT a happy camper. Those chairs there are horrible on my back.

There. I think I've vented quite enough for one day. Or...one morning.

Everyone...have as tolerable a day as is possible in this dreary, damp, dark, drizzly day.

@danger_dan...no matter what the weather, I just know you and your wife are going to have a wonderful day, a celebration of home ownership in your first home!!! Congratulations again!!

Hello Folks!
We've had drizzle and sunshine - one crack of thunder came out of nowhere and launched me off my seat! Sadie quickly found her way to be right beside me. My friend's dog toughed it out in the rain and MUD outside so I just gave him a major footwash in the sink. She (my friend - not the dog) was going off to a friend's retirement and I couldn't stand to see the poor thing (the dog - not my friend) outside in the rain - but he didn't mind - he has found a squirrel nest at the back of the property that just needs patrolling ALL THE TIME - a few barks included.

Got some very upsetting news about one of my friend's mother (who is also a friend) last night. She has been having back pain which was diagnosed as spinal stenosis. It turns out with further investigation that she has some form of aggressive lung cancer and also a spot on her spine. They are still sorting out meds and diagnosis but my friend (who has been a big help to ME) is in a lot of distress as she tries to keep her mum comfortable and sort through the road forward. Her mum never smoked.

Well, I have a turkey to deliver, a sewing machine to drop off and a (pardon the expression) boob squish to get prepared for.

I don't know if I will be participating in Canada Day or not - I've got to get packed.

Hi everyone good day. My baby Daughter graduated today from Grade 12 its a big day for us .Now she needs to grow up.Will be going out to dinner to celebrate tonight. .Wish she stayed closer to home for her under grad. Thinking about it is stressful for me .But we have to let her choose her path and just support her.Don't think I would have been worried if it was my older DD she is a stronger person well no kids are alike.Hopel everyone have a great day
