Good Morning, folks! Eventful weekend in Chatham. Wild -looking skies on the way home but no significant rain. They did have funnel-clouds and we were under a tornado warning but just Mother Nature shaking her fist at us.
Really lovely "summer" dinner at my BrotherB 's house. Home-made salads and BBQ'd kabobs.
Tomorrow -off to Buffalo to see immigration - BrotherB will drive. I will get a "Birthday " parcel ready to mail off to grandchildren in Denver.
I am missing my Tootie girl immensely but with another trip away on the weekend, it's better for her to stay with her canine cousin, Max. She actually fell asleep snuggled up with him, apparently. So she's definitely feeling at home there. 😂
What a beautiful sight that full moon was on Saturday night over the golf course where we had our celebration! Mars is "in retrograde" according to astrologers which means many powerful emotions and "war-like" actions but it should, in the end, stir up some positive change in our lives.
Well, I need to go and find a new CPAP mask as I have another sleep study booked for a week Monday.
Enjoy a "midsummer's" day, everyone.
Nat, I am glad you had some quality time with your son. He always makes you smile.

Good morning!
@walkonby , @Natalka , a belated HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to both of you!!
@danger_dan , wrt that photo....I'm not a blonde or brunette, sooooo I missed that photoshoot. You all work out your identities. As for that posting at your work, wow! Someone there isn't just full of crap, but ignorant and self-centred, too! Ring a bell for anyone you work with? Upper management?
We'll be heading home sometime today, in no hurry, it's another day of hot heat, sunshine, and wasps trying to drink our beverages. Where is fall when I want it?!?!
Have a great day, everyone!!

Good morning!
Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes!
Someone had asked about the one priest in the photo, the one to the left of my husband is his brother, who was the priest at our church in North Battleford at the time. The other two were from other parishes in the province.
Now, my husband's father had come from Europe for the wedding, and he was a priest, but he just wanted to be a Dad at the wedding.
It's going to be another hot one today, ick!
Enjoy whatever this day brings you!

good morning ( shhh, I know it is Monday but still parts of it can be good )
Thanks to those posting well wishes wrt my Anniversary.....and omg, this time next year DH and I will be celebrating being joined at the hip for 40 years!! Where have the years gone.......NO REALLY!! Where have they gone??
I forget now if it was @dededi that posted the pic of the coffee machine explosion BUT I did something just as annoying yesterday.
I had a long handle spoon ( like a sundae spoon ) sitting in my freshly brewed mug of decaf on the counter, as I grabbed my plate of food I reached over for the mug and hit the handle of the spoon knocking the mug over!
Splosh! coffee everywhere. How it splashed onto the fronts of so many cupboards below AND still had enough left to soak the floor over as far as the fridge is a mystery. Had to launder 2 mats and the plastic cat mat needed a cleaning. ugh....
Made another java later on but left NO spoon in it this time.

It's a shame to waste a good coffee like that, @walkonby , isn't it? Actually, a coffee sounds like a damn fine idea right about now.

Boy, I have made that coffee mess!
The doc just called to check on how I am doing and told me to cut out another med, which may be the cause of my troubles. Unfortunately, it's the sleeping pill, which has really helped me sleep better. She knows that, of course.
I told her my breathing wasn't great, but it hasn't gotten worse over the past few days. I am also still dizzy and weak. She will come see me tomorrow morning.

@Natalka ...some of us are wondering the same thing: WHY are you not under observation in a hospital??!!
I sure hope your breathing improves and that she can do more for you tomorrow to make you comfortable again.
Poor muffin.....

Lynn, I am not so sick as to need to be in hospital, not just my opinion but also that of the medical staff. With the specialized home care, I can be looked after here. However, they always let me know that should something start going south, I should get to hospital.
Thanks to all for your continued concern.
