Glad to hear about the pooches. We must have been "channeling each other -the only meals I have made in the past few days have been for Tootie.

Well, finally something worked for Tootie, too.
She woke me up at about 1 with desperation in her whine. Before I could get my shoes on, she headed for the living room and started peeing. OH NO! I picked her up whereupon she continued peeing all over me - my jeans, shirt, jacket, the carpet, her bed, and the tile floor. So I hauled her outside where she seemed determined but a little unsure. Finally found JUST the right spot and accomplished the objective so I didn't have to move to a new level of intervention today. She's been alone most of the day, though. I have LOTS to do when I get home.

Got to go make supper for a bunch of family.

Oh, @Natalka !!! I hope you can get out of there soon!! WHat's the housing situation, have you been "greasing those wheels"?? Phoning, using expletive words, letting them know the conditions you're presently living in, without exaggerating of course.. {{wink wink}}. WHATEVER WORKS, Sweetie!!!!

We just watched the animated movie "Coco" with our GS, his choice, and omgoodness...sniff, sniff...it's no wonder that movie got such great reviews!! It's on Netflix and it's a lovely movie!

The housing situation is stalled, but on my part, not theirs. I'm just in such poor shape medically, that I cannot imagine planning and packing for a move.

Nat, I hope you are able to rest and get some relief. I know it's the weekend, but I would try calling your nurse or caseworker or ANYONE who will answer the phone and ask for help. Tell them you are at the end of your rope. (It sounds just unbearable.) I know that when the responsibility to make contacts falls on you and you're feeling horrible, that an advocate is needed. Perhaps Milan can make some phone calls for you and express his concern for your physical, and emotional welfare. Then take off all your clothes and stand in the middle of the road and start screaming-definitely some help would arrive fast! (Wink-wink)

Wowsers, thanks. Well, however, everything which can be done for me is currently being done. I'm awaiting a few specialist appointments.
Yes, every day is terrible lately - and to top it off, I stepped wrong yesterday and am walking even more awkwardly.
I btch about it, and have pity parties, but I'm rather stuck with this all right now - and with the help of the home care nurses and others, we are working on things. It's just that daily life sucks for me a lot.

@Natalka , that's step two; step one is finding a more suitable place. I'm sure there's assistance for moving when people are unable to move themselves. You're right: it's your ballgame to win or lose, Hon.

Lynn, I have listings of accessible places, one of which home care would really like to see me in - it's a grouping of tiny houses - the other is an apt building.

But no, there is no assistance for packing or moving, one would have to search out and pay people to do that.

Where I hurt my leg yesterday, there is some crazy swelling around my knee, above it and on each side of my thigh. Geez, crap just won't stop for me!
Good thing the nurse is coming in the morning, we need a better plan.

Wow.....it's so true, though...when trying to be ever so careful about how one walks, moves, it's almost inevitable, unfortunately, that something else tweeks out of place! I hope it's not serious and that your care worker can come up with a more comprehensive plan that'll actually help you through this!

Time to settle in for the night...our GS is back home, the kids had really good rounds of golf, our DD and her DH won their first flight, and they said it was very well organized and everyone had a great time.

Rainy night last night...thunder and lighting half way through the night. Had to rush around the house closing windows since we left them all open to cool the house down!

Drive in was decent this morning.
Looks like it's going to be a cruddy week weather-wise, and just another week work-wise.

It is a rainy cold and windy day,Only 10 degres this morning and 16 degres this afternoon.What a change weather can make.I will try to find more pets compagnies to writhe because I dont have any pets coupons left,I have now coupons just for my personnal use not for trading...

And hoping to start to class my familly pictures,I will buy albums at dollorama this week for that,I am hoping I will have place to store the albums.No unit shelves here
