Good morning!

My guy is back to work today as well. I have so enjoyed him this last week because he is a different man when he's not wasted after a hard day of work. He has been talkative, sings, and stays awake much more!

Care aide comes this aft. Our son will come over for supper.

Morning, folks! Looks like a nice, but cold one here. The roofers are back so I hope they'll be finished soon!

I met up with the young men from India that I had met in the fall. They are very sweet young people - told me that they went to a bar on New Year's Eve. -assuring me that it was the very first time they had done this! But they were too shy to talk to any girls! 😊

Might try to sneak in a few more zzzs. Have a great one!

@walkonby , I just KNEW that Kaa was a good snake...he does save Mowgli's life in the newer movie that was out. Snakes just do stuff like that. Leave it to humans to make dragons and snakes evil. Hmph. Thank you for clearing that up for everyone, Walks....

@Newfiescreech , lol, I had 1 glass of wine and 1 scotch to usher in the new year...and now, on this diet I can't have anything at all. However, I'm just guessing here, but that just may change at camp this summer...

@Natalka , is your care aid the same o e who suggested you check yourself into the hospital? Have you determined when you may do that? I guess you just get an ambulance to take you so that you can report your conditions contributing to your "failure to thrive ". I hope she can "walk" you through the process, because you certainly aren't moving forward towards renewed health. All the best to you in 2019, Nat.

It's dang frigid out there...-24!!! So we are not going anywhere, although our DD, like many others, is back to work today. I'm not sure how long she'll stay, she's been so sick with a cold, sore throat since after Christmas. But that's how it works, doesn't it? Weekends, holidays, it seems our bodies go, " ok! Time to get sick!" I told her it was her angel's way of making her rest from her usual busy self.

Hey, we are hitting plus three today! Pretty awesome after two bizarrely frigid days.
@Lynn49 - no, it was the nurse from last week. A nurse came this morning for a checkup, turned more into a therapy session actually - but at a good point for me to get things out. We went over all the issues which need addressing.

Yeah, I am delaying going, I know I must. Husband doesn't want me to go until Monday. Will talk with him and son tonight.

My OT also called. She and the PT had been planning to come together to try get me up, etc., but that is now moot.

The other issue is which of the three hospitals to go to, if given the choice. Pros and cons of each.

My head is full.

Yikes, how bad was it, or is it? I've done that a couple of times and got put on a Ventolin respirator, cleared right up more or less, so I hope the same is true for you. Or, as Walks suggested...fake another symptom.

Honey, I was complaining about the cold when it was still summer then fall because the stupid winter was coming. This should come as no surpise to anyone, but I HATE WINTER!!!! Actually I'd prefer the cold to the snow. It's the snow I hate more.
