Waiting in ER - asthma attack.

I seem to be the least at risk. You know what that means. BrotherB is in TO at a play. My good friend is coming up from Cambridge to pick up my keys and get Tootie.

@avoncallingu hope you get to see the Dr soon. Thinking of you and I agree with @walkon by even though she just wan to make you laugh some times that the quickest way to see the DR

@avoncallingu - hope you got in relatively quickly and got some help!


My Dr called this afternoon and will come see me Monday morning. She is just back from holiday and can't come before then. Trust me, if it were urgent, she would. She does have to deal with seriously ill people, as well as palliative care.

Should anything change/worsen with me, I will go into hospital before Monday.

I will have the bonus of able to pack together things I may need, and have them ready to be brought for me if needed, once I find out what they will do with me, and where I will be. The guys did a fine job the last time, if they couldn't find something like a personal care product, they just bought a new one.

Plus I will have lists ready of my meds, specialists, and a bit of a timeline.

Well, I am going to have a bit of a rest before the men come after work. At least there is no cooking tonight for them, just reheating.

We " losers " ( aka the dieting crowd ) all appreciate the moral support we get. I was just gonna poke my head in to say hi this morning....but after viewing this clip I have to share......I mean a cuddle is a cuddle no matter who offers it right?

😮 OMG 😲!!! If that was me laying there on ground and seals comes climbing on me like that ..you better have emergency team and vehicles waiting for me ..either i need paddles bring me back to life or bring body bag just in case i kicked bucket ..dont think i would make it out of this situation alive .LOL

I'm home. Thanks for your suggestions. They wouldn't let me eat or take any headache meds. I was in a lot of pain before I got released. Conclusion- the extreme cold brought on the asthma attack and a linguring virus is causing the cough. So I am to start taking my "use them every now and then" puffers regularly and make sure I have a scarf over my mouth when I walk outside. I also think that the mold that was hiding in the leaves that never got raked up, also contributed.
This is making me re-think my trip to the "Mile-High" city. I might just have negated my insurance. I will check tomorrow.
Tootie is relaxing at my friend's house. So tomorrow I will probably go pick her up. (I have a second set of car keys.) And get my house keys back from my friend.

Ohhh avoncallingu you have be soo careful ..when you have breathing problems like asthma..there’s so many things that can trigger it and cause problems for you ..take good care yourself sweetie

We have a little snow on the ground but it’s warmer than yesterday. Be careful if you have to be on the roads . @avoncallingu hope you are feeling much better today @Natalka hope you are feeling much better and is able to sort out all the details and choose a day to go to the hospital. Your health is your top priority.
